This song/video takes me back to when I was once homeless, living out of backpack, trying to get some sleep on a beach in Malibu, California. My only friends then, were a flock of seagulls, one in particular, who I named Shorty simply because he was smaller then the others. I fed them some of my bread and cheese every day while there. One day, as I was laying on my back upon the sand, Shorty jumped on my stomach and stayed there for a long time with it's back to me, the ultimate trust of a wild creature. Thank you Chris and Coldplay for this and all your musical trips that inspire and help so many people. You are an amazing, caring and wonderful HUMAN BEING.
My best friend, a german shepard had to leave us. I did listen to this song and hope she was not dead, she just fly on, like a bird. I hope she is free like a bird. Sometimes she visits me in the sleep, I never se her face/eyes only her body, maybee just as an comfort, her soul is somewhere else.
While I'm sitting on the train I think of my sons, they also flew away to be with their dad, they wanted to be with them in life, it's a hard life, I visit them as often as I can, they live far away from me, the pain that I feel every time I leave must is like a stab in the heart. Thank you Coldplay for your music, it's therapy for me

I am very sorry you lost your son. My older brother died and I watched it really agonize my parents. They've seemed to find some peace now but it took a lot of time. I believe our loved ones depart this earth but their spirits live on and they still love us
