Hi Andy, love your vids, thinking of doing these 2 very soon. Did you go up the NE ridge to start unlike the starting route from walk highlands page, if so what was the exposure like.? I liked a scramble as long as is not too exposed. Also any sort of path that leads up to it.??
    Frank.

Hey Frank, glad u liked the vid.Yes the route i took is known as the Schoolhouse Ridge. If u keep walking up the path ignoring the turn off on the Walkhighlands route and start to turn off when u are near the start of the ridge.(u will need to walk through heather at bottom),a path will start to appear. The scramble bits are in sections of about 4-5 with great foot and handholds everywhere.Slight exposure but ok.Deffo the way to do these mountains.😎👍

Great video thanks for sharing, I'll be going up these two in May next year, that ridge looked a bit tricky with the snow.

Thanks for commenting. The ridge is not too bad.The Sun hits straight onto the ridge and all the rocks that weren't snow covered were nice dry and grippy.Plenty of foot and handholds.
