I love the look of my Monos ( I have medium and large check in) but it's a real chore trying to keep them clean. I purchased the covers and after 2 flights they were destroyed. Ripped in several places, so dirty! yes, it slightly protected the luggage but it looked like garbage at baggage claim. They aren't cheap! Now, I either replace the covers, take my chances on messing up the luggage without covers. I wish the luggage had a stain/black mark blocker. like a teflon finish for suitcases! The luggage is gorgeous when new but if you buy a light color be prepared to work really hard at keeping it almost clean. It's almost impossible to get the black marks off.

I use the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on my white resin kitchen garbage can and refrigerator; What a difference it makes!

Only the regular carryon is allowed on international flights. I just ordered two bags after returning from an international flight and finding my material luggage trashed (ripped and stained). My only concern is the weight of the carryon since only 7Kg is allowed and the bag itself is 3.5 kg. Thanks for the tips on scuffing.

9:00 I love the look and the function, but there’s no denying that this takes a beating and won’t come completely clean in the lighter colors. I have the Magnolia Banana Pudding color and it takes enormous effort to keep clean, even with the cover.

I’ve scrubbed mine so hard and the black scuffs will not come off, two flights and it looks terrible. Would not recommend.

I can get the scuffs out. It’s deep scratches that will not come out. Every piece of luggage that is checked will get scratched.

poor design. Monos need to reconsider replacing re-designing the shell material. This is not normal

My dirt doesn't come off with spraying of water... I traveled internationally with this yes!
