Graeme Norgate is a crafty guy if you think about it. Not only do you hear bits of NeoTokyo. But this version is the exact same as the Industrial tile set. Good show, Mr Norgate. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
...But also a sense of independence. As if you're going to survive out there in the darkness on your own. Yes, you're alone - but you can make this work.
Never forget his amazing game on GameCube, loved virus mode! Level editor with a insane amount of computer players, so legendary. Long live timesplitters, greatest First person shooter ever
The initial sparse melody emphasises with your own sense of loneliness, progressing relatively but beautifully. All the sounds are brought together as the song reaches for crescendo. Nourishing a sense of hope in the depravity of open space.
I'm so glad that I still have the whole TS series! Unfortunately I heard that TSFP didn't sell enough copies so they can't make TS4. But let's hope Crytek makes TS4 anyway. I had an awesome idea for the stage builder for that game! TS series is still better than most of the games today.
I think speed 1.1 is the closest to the Industrial Tileset theme's tempo if anyone's interested, since this is a remix of it... ...while the Industrial Tileset theme is kind of a remix of NeoTokyo.

RIP, cancelled, unnamed TimeSplitters game.
here remains one of the best games ever created :,c
This theme always gave off a sense of isolation, emptiness and loneliness...

This is such a brilliant tune to find in a game easter egg.
