What a gift it was to us for Kelly to share to us his soul in his vocal talent. In my book, he was the best there ever was.

Kelly right up there with the legends like Paul Rodgers. RIP Kelly

Absolutely. If Kelly had made one or two different choices along his path, his name would be equal or bigger. I wonder if he had followed his first band to LA what would have happened or if he hadn't bailed on COL. He was the total package. RIP~KH

Cry of Love I never heard of until 2022 and that’s just SAD. Idk if it was a manager issue or what but damn.

It is a shame these guys felt like they constantly need to defend their sound and comparisons to other groups. Awesome band, outstanding musicians and great music. Just enjoy it! And, HOLY SHIT what a great performance.

Man, bands like this don't come around very often. How they weren't at least as big as the Crowes is beyond me (they're almost the only band I can compare them to from that time period). It's such a shame Kelly had so many demons to deal with in his life. SOO talented. It's a tragedy that he died, especially the way he went, but maybe he's at peace now. Just heartbreaking to think what we probably missed had things worked out differently.

They are the gem that we know they are. Untouchable and unreachable. Others who had more success can never compare or attain their level. They are stuck on the top forever

I heard these guys doing a radio interview back in the 90s and I think they played this song in the studio. I was blown away....what talent. Never understood why they weren't big time. RIP Kelly. What a voice.

Beautiful piece and beautifully done by all the guys. In addition to displaying a stunningly beautiful voice, Kelly shows some of the humor those that knew him well seem to speak of frequently. Can't help but think he would revel in this age of "dad jokes". Audley has spoken articulately about the blessing of having the opportunity to do something you love and bringing all you have to it, including the passion seen here. The joy really is in the doing; everything else is really out of a man's hands anyway.

Anybody watching this have any idea why Kelly split from the band right when they should've been doing another record? I had heard "he hated touring" as one reason, I just don't know for fact that to be the 100% reason, though it could be most of it, perhaps. Anybody? Robert is a great singer himself for the second record they did, it was just too late after the first record hype, at least I would bet that to be the answer Audley himself would tell people if asked. I think it is so awesome Rich Robinson worked with Audley after COL was done, and Rich told Jimmy Page "no thanks" right around that same time period. I say this because JP is known to be, well, standoffish, to put it mildly
