People, XG is not k-pop or j-pop group, they are a international/global group but they are promoting in Korea because it's a asian country and korean industry is the best way to reach a global popularity because Japan don't care to be recognized internationally. XG is a global girlgroup like Little Mix and Fifth Harmony. It's simple.

I loved Mascara but Shooting Star took it to the stars fa me literally. It is such a vibe and has a beautiful message. I really love these girls and am proud to be an Alphaz bc these girls have what it takes to get to the top. They will always eattttt. I ultimately stan BLACKPINK but as a multistan for GGS XG has def worked their way to my top stanning girl group list. Also, 5:32 that girl whose vocals is INSANE is my biasss. Her name is Chisa and she always bodies. She is the main vocalist and sub-leader. She just turned 21 years old on January 17th.

Every prechorus from Juria and Chisa gives me another reason to be thankful XG exists.
If they're one thing we can expect from XG, it's that Jurin starts the song with heattttt and the combo of Juria and Chisa in the prechorus eats everytime!!

It's not a Korean group, but a Japanese group, but even from a Japanese perspective, I thought it was great that they incorporated a nostalgic and unique style such as Japanese Harajuku fashion that is a little different from Korea.
A Korean artist takes care of them and they are active in Korea. Are you sure they are a Japanese group?

And since it doesn’t seem too many comments have addressed it, Kep1er’s Hikaru was originally supposed to debut with XG (you can find her in pre-debut teaser content and they have made TikToks together during Mascara/Up era) and I think once her contract with Kep1er is over they will renegotiate with her whether she will join XG or not, and that was confirmed by XG’s producer Simon. So.. kind of a rumor that she will join for sure but it’s a fact that she was supposed to be in XG and there’s a solid chance that she could join in the future (I think it’s kind of up to her)

Well since I didn't see anyone answering the Hikaru question I'll do it.
She was part of XG before the official Debut. They were 10 girls, Hikaru was one of them but at the end, it came down to 7 members. XG help her get into a show in korea and that's when Hikaru started her own path. (I saw the XG document series)
