I wanna just say, i appreciate you guys sharing how youve been feeling towards the end of this episode. I felt that when bobby and theo were going back and forth about feeling a bunch of different emotions. I recently went through a fairly traumatic experience and it was one of those things where it was nice to feel like i wasnt alone.

I hope your doing alright now buddy. I went through some difficult stuff through lockdowns too buddy, we all did in our own ways. Remember it's important to talk and not keep things bottled up. Fresh air too. Make sure you get outside as much as possible. Life is a roller coaster. Its goes up and down. Remember though as down and bad things can get, they can always get better so keep moving forward. Peace and love to you bro.

Bobby and Theo together never disappoints
Saw some clips that made me want to rewatch this episode. I really appreciate that as Bobby discussed being on the fence about relapse, Theo, who always jokes around got serious. U can see they are truly friends and I greatly respect him for being there and not being silly about a serious potential situation.
Unfortunately Bobby was lying and had already relapsed. He admitted on the episode with Shultz who did nothing but crack jokes. Making Theo look like an even better friend.
@@usmc72409 yes, Schulz made a lot of jokes but it’s important to remember that many people become comedians because they have had to use humor as a way to cope and traverse sensitive, difficult, or tragic situations. Bobby is a prime example of this. He had a crippling drug addiction at a young age, was beaten by both of his parents, and he was molested by a kid with down-syndrome. That’s not to say there is never a time for seriousness, though.
@@jamestrotter927 yes Bobby def is one to make a joke in the middle of a tragedy. I like Shultz, Bobby and comedians so I have no problem taking the joke. I was just pointing out that it’s nice that a comedian took it seriously. It’s important to have a friend that can be serious with bobby bc he does need some of that. Every person in that situation needs a friend that can be serious during tough times.

I was stoked for his new special and I think I made it about 10 minutes in and I reluctantly tapped out.

I enjoy a lot of comedians' podcasts. Not everyone is more than surface level friends. You can tell the real ones. The guys and gals that really care for each other. Tom and Bert come to mind. You can really tell that Bobby and Theo care about each other. Love watching the two together. Makes the pod more engaging.
