I like the way you think! Similiar to me, there's some trophies I won't go for regardless of who has it or not. My motivation is to get trophies I would enjoy doing in a challenging way that seems appropriate. That's how I feel about GT Sport, the online requirements were tedious. Definitely not enjoyable.

Arkham Knight. Those trophies are difficult if you're a bad ass. I ranked top 100 in a world wide leader board in the VR missions. Turns out that the 'infinite" wave of thugs in those VRs aren't infinite at all. If you're too bad ass and survive long enough, there will eventually be a timer on the screen tell you how long you got before it ends it for you. It's like the game is like, "hey, I'd let you finish, but we have the best score of all time."

Well done on getting the outlast 2 plat I gave up on that 1 just because of the unskippable cutscenes but I did manage to get the platinum for both the evil within games which in my mind made up for it lol

PersNikity This was my first time playing a Dark Souls game. I have played bloodborne and platted that, though. It’s a tough game with bullshit at times, but the key is patience. If you have that, you’ll manage.
I recently started my plat run thru dark souls remaster at 5% XD But since I never got to play the old one i waited until they remastered it and playing bloodborne helped since dark souls is sooo much slower lol

@@TheNiktator Tekken 7 is relatively easy in comparison to Tekken 6. Only annoying thing is to deal with online trophies, people are quite good and it could be a bit frustrating if you're not good at it.

PersNikity if anything you should try it since it's a PS4 EXCLUSIVES the majority of the time all exclusives are good. There are the few exceptions but PlayStation users should try those games. But yeah would love if you did Spiderman. Plus it's insomniac I love those devs. Keep up the good work on your channel!

I've also survived long enough in those "infinite" wave of thug VRs to know that they aren't infinite at all. Turns out that if your too bad ass, there will eventually be a timer on the screen that will end the simulation for you. I've even been through Azrel's trial simulation of where you go as long as you can without getting hit without actually getting hit. If I wanted too, I would get 100 percent in Arkham knight.

I would say pick a game you care a lot about and just stick with it. Some games have really hard platinums, so try to pick one that is relatively simple. You can always seach playstationtrophies.org for excellent trophy guides where people take the time to even rate the difficulties of some of these games!

Nice! Yeah its from the theme I bought. You know, growing up I was always an Xbox kid. I love Halo/Gears/etc. But over time I have grown towards PS4. On the one hand I like getting platinum trophies, its more exciting than just getting 100% achievements (even though both are practically the same thing). But also, it seems like Xbox tries to hard to build a better console, in the sense that they want the Xbox to be more than just for gaming. Whereas it seems like PS4 puts an emphasis on making original, exclusive games, and to me thats what it should be about! Just my opinion though!
Thanks Jerome! Yeah I try to go for high completion % over high amount of trophies. I'd rather have high completion rates for games I love than to just have an abundance of plats from games I don't care about...

It was okay the first time I played it, and I could appreciate the story once it was all said and done, but I wasn't a fan of the no dialogue. It seemed a bit pretentious and boring to me. However I should have been more specific. It wasn't exactly the game I didn't care for, it was the trophy hunting. Having to play through a second time to get all the trophies was just painstakingly boring.

It's fuzzybearbarian might have misspelled it but I watched his I'm 4 or 5 parts and that's it. No 2nd playthru. Maybe that would ve helped :/ lol

Wow what I find really impressive is the amount of one hundred percentages you have. Like I have some games I borrowed, which have low percentages. Other are PS plus games that I played for a bit and didn't enjoy (RIME for example), others I do have the platinum, but I never buy DLC. (So I can have a 60% completion with a platinum...) Still I have 11 platinums (check out my profile "Daantjuh-NL" if you are interested)
I love the last of us it's my favourite game actually, the main game and DLC are both amazing. I'm kind of sad that you can't platinum the main game without the multiplayer because I'm not interested in it and I believe that anyone who gets all the collectibles and finishes the game on an insane difficulty deserves the platinum!
I'm like you, but I just foced myself and it's super easy. You can use tricks to make the grind shorter too, I finished every MP trophy in like 2-3 days.
So satisfying to here a trophy earned notification.

I've been trophy-hunting since 2013. My 1st ever Platinum trophy was Resident Evil 5. As of this post, I'm at Level 16 with 25 Platinum trophies.

Wow what I find really impressive is the amount of one hundred percentages you have. Like I have some games I borrowed, which have low percentages. Other are PS plus games that I played for a bit and didn't enjoy (RIME for example), others I do have the platinum, but I never buy DLC. (So I can have a 60% completion with a platinum...)
Still I have 11 platinums (check out my profile "Daantjuh-NL" if you are interested)

I would say 7 or 8. Most of it is super easy, but like Senpai said, the time trials are killer, especially in the first game.

I refuse playing or platinuming The Last of Us, only because of the multiplayer trophies.
Yeah it was a tough grind for me, I despise multiplayer trophies
I love the last of us it's my favourite game actually, the main game and DLC are both amazing. I'm kind of sad that you can't platinum the main game without the multiplayer because I'm not interested in it and I believe that anyone who gets all the collectibles and finishes the game on an insane difficulty deserves the platinum!

I'm like you, but I just foced myself and it's super easy.
You can use tricks to make the grind shorter too, I finished every MP trophy in like 2-3 days.
Should I leave Xbox?
Not if you enjoy Halo and Gears. If you don't care about those games I say do it
