Climbing Mt. Kulago has been almost a year in the making. Our first attempt was in July last year. It was meant to be my birthday hike, but the weather didn’t permit us. It was raining heavily, with almost zero visibility at the jump-off area. However, our second attempt was completely different. We experienced the best weather during the trek to the campsite, followed by cool weather at the summit. We even had clear skies and witnessed a beautiful sunrise! All the worries we had before the climb were completely gone. It’s truly a testament to God’s timing and favor that we can put our trust in.
