Lagwagon are the Beatles of punk rock. I can't think of a band (any genre) that has a stronger catalog of material than Lagwagon. Everything from 'Hoss' right through to 'Railer' is what I consider to be nearly perfect albums. Sure, I love the first 2 albums as well, but Cape's songwriting skills hadn't been perfected yet. They have the best combination of factors that a band could hope for. Incredible songwriting and killer players. Non-musicians do not realize how good these guys are. All of them...especially Raun, Rest and Raposo. Frig, every member than Cape served a significant stint in RKL...so they have to be good players. I guess you could say that Cape was a part of RKL at the time of its inception, but only if you want to get technical. hehe. Anyway....my praise piece is over. I just have mad respect for this band.
Yeah Lagwagon is peak punk when it comes to consistency throughout their catalog. Cape is such a good songwriter & his cadence fits so well with the genre.
