Loved the raindrops sound, feel like virtual reality that I am walking too.🌧☔The explosion of fireworks that sparkled was so spectacular, even Rambalac was so hands-on with a professional touch.🎆Thanx Ram,for the rain,it was hard work.Appreciated!!!🥳
I was at the Sumida River one in 1990. We'd managed to get onto the roof of a high-rise right next to the river and had been watching what we thought was the 'main show' almost directly in front of us, thinking it was awesome, when suddenly from about 300m to our left further up the river there suddenly erupted a deluge of super-white novae which tore up into the sky and went off like Armageddon. Windows were rattling like they were going to shatter and we could feel the concussion in our bodies. Absolute "WTF!!!" moment. Never seen a display like it since.
I really like your video. No talking. No music. Just pure Japan. Hope the rain did not affect your equipments. What kind of water protection did you use?
A couple at 0:55 going towards the camera and eating ice-cream is the same as at 9:33 going forward in front of the camera! How did they manage to get there?-)
Probably Edogawa. It's quite big and has many places to watch. And special things is same time there is another firework somewhere to the north-west and you can watch both.
Most of hanbi events are set as weekend number. Some set exact day of month regardless working day. But better to check schedule for specific year, usually it's easy to find in google by name and year.
oh my god.. rainy night, lots of couple under same umberella, late to see fireworks, and wet lumix. please kill me! 9:30 glimpse of fireworks 14:30 finally, hanabi!
Haha, I'm sorry that you didn't have a good time but looks like everybody else enjoyed it. I didn't hear any complaining. About 750,000 people (Metropolitan police department estimate) closed in this small area, there must be some kind of restrictions to control the crowd. Nobody gets 100% but nobody gets 0% either. Sharing the joy and equally suffer the pain, that's the Japanese way.
+shofuji023 I had good time. My goal was to take video of that miserable event, not watching hanabi. Rain made everything even "better". I'm going to Edogawa for hanabi.
@@Rambalac i love your video man.. i cant yet go to japan.. but i can see it in your video. its nice.. really good country. ... hmm are u japan people?
The raindrops on the lens, rain sound umbrellas and street sound. I really like it ! I hope your equipment survived.
I did not have umbrella :)

Watching this makes me homesick for Japan. Thank you for sharing this.
i was there that day it was nice.. and great videos man love it!
Here in the US rain would cancel the fireworks. But the Japanese are hardcore when it comes to fireworks.
ah, pre-covid days. 😬♥️
came across these videos by accident........IT WAS WORTH IT!!!!!
I read elsewhere that the organizers were charging really high fees for access to good viewing areas.

Is this an "all Asian look the same" Joke? xD
Funny and beatiful. White umbrellas walking towards the lights. :-)
Which of Tokyo's firework displays would you say is the best?
Probably Edogawa. It's quite big and has many places to watch. And special things is same time there is another firework somewhere to the north-west and you can watch both.

I'm glad to hear that.
what is the best firework in japan?
Kamakura is the best I ever had. It may be not the best by firework shots but it's much easier to watch and reflection on the water is nice.

Why do they do fireworks? Is it a holiday? Is it scheduled to repeat every year at the same time?
Yes, fireworks are mostly annual.
wh can u not stay ?!
