Three seconds in and we get to see the awesome Eyekoo art/computer setup. Looking really nice! I noticed our favorite mando character on the desk as well. And we also get a look at some recent paintings. Very nice art! The input lag on any drawing display would drive me nuts since sometimes I sketch or crosshatch fast. But for people who draw slower this might not be too bad. Great video!
Haha, thanks, DPO. Trying to be all neat for the video. There's normally a lot more chaos going on there with multiple devices spread out when I'm in testing mode. Haha... I'm definitely more on the slower side when it comes to drawing and painting. But for you and Andy, I can imagine that input lag being a problem. I'll be sure to spend a little bit more time showing some painting as I get back into a good groove with the videos.
Thank you so much for this! I was having this exact question and it's nice to know there are apps that us a usb-c connection but that the second screen is good for the go, also most videos on this topic were made a while back.
The most of reviewers don't even talk about this features. I discovered this few months ago and I can't stop using it now XD in my laptop it works perfectly and I love it, i use it for photoshop and illustrator.
@@EyekooDrawsStuff I'm using my tab s9+. I need to try the wired method, sure it works even better. I wish I can use this feature with my macbook also.
I really want to buy this Samsung s9 FE. On your video, you used HMDI to connect on your pc as wires connection, so does it mean that this device is capable of using HDMI as second screen?
I used Second Screen, and Miracast from the PC. If your computer supports wireless display and has wireless direct, then you can use the tablet as a wireless extended display. To use a cable, you need something like EasyCanvas, which lets you connect USB-C to usb-c
It’s ok but I had issues trying to sculpt in Blender. I couldn’t get an on screen keyboard to work and the pen pressure didn’t work either. Shame. Great idea. I wish there were Windows wireless drawing displays.
Hm... that's strange that the pen pressure wasn't working. Is there perhaps a pressure setting within Blender to toggle? Maybe between WinTab vs WinInk or similar?
So if you don't want to install any pc software, then the only way to extend your Win10+, so that your samsung tablet becomes a portable monitor.. is to use Samsung 'Second Screen' feature? If you do install software, what's the difference between, Samsung DeX, Samsung Flow, Microsoft 'Link to Windows', SpaceDesk, Genymobile / scrcpy?
Of that list, I've only briefly tested out SpaceDesk and it wasn't to my liking. Maybe I've just gotten used to much simpler design with focused purpose for things like this. EasyCanvas seemed far quicker and easier to use (but it is a paid app). As is SuperDisplay. The main benefit with these options (which will send your computer video signal out to your samsung device) is that you can use it via USB which will be more reliable. If I'm not mistaken, Micorsoft Link To Windows and Samsung Flow have nothing to do with display though and more about syncing files and communications. Genymobile/Scrcpy lets you control the Android device from your computer, not the other way around Samsung Dex (if you have displayport) will send your tablet display out, not mirror/extend your computer display as far as I know.
For what purposes though? There are smaller tablets, and if just using them as a second screen is what you're going for, probably plenty of options. But if you want to draw on it as well, that narrows things down. Options with stylus for drawing... The best option that is smaller would be iPad Mini 6th gen (8.3") with Apple Pencil 2. The cheaper option would be Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (10.4")
Hi there. The Tab A series does not have S Pen support so I would not recommend this for drawing. I would suggest looking at the Tab S9FE if it's within your budget. This comes with the pressure-sensitive S Pen included. There have been some good deals on it recently as well.
Last I checked, EasyCanvas gave a bit more customizability. I need to give SuperDisplay another try because it's been about 2 years since I looked at it

Yeah It's a great looking set up. It really looks inspiring!
@@SketchPLAY1 Thank you! I must say, the sit-stand desk has been really great, as well as the monitor arm/laptop trays to free up some space on there

You're welcome. I'm glad the video was helpful :-)

Ah, that's awesome. I'm glad it works smoothly for you! It really is a great feature to have if it works well.
Which Samsung tablet are you using?

@@medygv6907 for Mac you could try Duet display or EasyCanvas

Do you have a recommendation that’s smaller in size? Under 11inches

@EyekooDrawsStuff Thank you!!
which one are you recommend? easycanvas or second screen?
EasyCanvas because you can connect via USB-C and get a smoother connection
Super Display or Easy Canvas is better in your opinion?

@EyekooDrawsStuff Thank you for your information, I look forward
