Ok Nick.... Ok.... There is no way I can make this sound not condescending so I'm not even gonna try:
1: Go to the hardware store.
2: Buy two sturdy buckets with handles. *
3: Go home.
4: Open barrel.
5: Fill the buckets with the liquid.
6: Check label to see if the lube is water based.
7: If it is water based then put a hose into the bucket and let the content dissolve into a much more fluid liquid - so it wont clog the drain - and then just let it drain into the sewer.
8: If it's petroleum based poor it into smaller containers - like painter/plaster buckets with lids - and make put about 15 liters of liquid into each - and then bring it to a waste facility.
* Petrolium based lube = get some 15-20 Liter (4-ish gallon) painter/plaster buckets with lids - so about 15 pr. barrel - or 30 buckets in total. Don't overfill them since the heavier you make them, the higher the risk something breaks - you included.
ALTERNATIVELY - call someone who moves stuff and have them move it! LOL
