Love this! I just had an idea - how bout filling the pens w/crushed glass/mirrors? It would reflect that light even more! I think I would probably use a puck light from Amazon, & those come w/remotes, too. I plan on hanging a DIY chandelier in our main bathroom, & being battery operated means it can be used if the power goes out bc of a storm, snow, etc. It'd really come in handy, especially if there are other lights like the pucks in other places. I've seen ppl put LED strips & pucks underneath vanities to light up the floor like a nightlight. Having a USB end to plug into a standard plug-in phone charger thingy makes it easy to install, even to backlight a mirror. That's the style now - creative lighting! This is, btw, the prettiest DIY chandelier that I've found that I really like! Thank you for showing us your design & creativity:)

Brilliant idea using the pens and gold foil. I have a hook above my bed ( put there by the previous owner) and I think your chandelier will be perfect. That is a great idea. The jar has a lot of versatility. The chandelier is not for me but it is also a great idea ( Wish also on Amazon you can get long sphere acrylic crystals as well).

Cute. Have you thought about making a tree from a Saran Wrap Pole & styrofoam sphere ,some spackle an artificial tree leaves? I had a left over bowl from the coffee cup project, and used it as the base or my tree.
