Thank you for this documentary. I'm truly trying to understand and I am wondering how can we rest in Christ if we are constantly wondering if we are still saved? Can a gift be taken back? I'm very lost right now and these are genuine questions and I'm not trying to poke hole but really want to know the answers.

Hey there @shannalarson6617 , the foundation of our assurance is found in the fact that we know Jesus Christ died for us.
I love how Leroy Forlines puts it:
“The difference between condition and ground could be illustrated in this way. The condition for a chair supporting me is for me to sit in the chair. When I am string in the chair, the chair is the ground of my support. The ground of our salvation is Jesus Christ and His atoning work. The condition of our salvation is the response of faith.
Sometimes people make the mistake of focusing more on the condition than the ground. In looking for assurance, they examine their faith instead of Christ. If I want to have confidence that a chair will hold me up, I will examine the chair not the confidence in the chair, As I examine the chair, if it is well built, my confidence will be made sure.”
      1 John tells us:
These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.
      - 1 John 5:13
We are called to examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith(2 Corinthians 14:5). But we can boldly go to the throne of grace because we know the character of God, as He has shown Himself clearly through the person of Jesus Christ(Hebrews 4:15-16). We know that Jesus promised He would not cast out those who come to Him. Jesus is good. We know that when we sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous (1 John 2:1). Seek Jesus and know that if you are coming to Him, He will not cast you out because we know who He is!

It is a gift that you can refuse to put it simply. If I buy you an engagement ring, you can say no. That's what Jesus did by dieing in the cross. He bought the ring and laid the price, but ate you going to hold up your end of the deal and live for Him. It's literally just the same. He says we are his bride repeatedly in scripture and and the end of Revelation, after the tribulation, we (His bride) are made ready. If you cheat on your husband, he would cut you lose. That's what Jesus does to us. We sin against Him repeatedly with no remorse, he cuts us off and casts us out. It's not so much your works, but it really comes down to how you act. The next thing is your talent. Can you or will you use it for Him? Some of us are lost on how to use it and that's okay. A door will open.

      Greetings sweet child,
If you are a person who finds comfort within the reading of scripture....then I encourage you to believe that God promises to speak to each of us by His Spirit.
It is why you can hear through your conscience....that is God speaking with you.
Take your time and ask God to explain the old covenant and the new covenant to you....
Consider this next proposition from me carefully...
Do you think God's love (God who is love....His nature) changed from Adam to you...
      Do you think God evolved.
Do you think God had to be taught how to adapt in His love for creation....
You don't need theology to answer this question....God has placed the answer in your heart.
And so God has given mankind revelation of His nature through His Son....Grace and Truth.
His word is truth and He is gracious.
Your heart will testify to you sweet child.
Your Father in Heaven loves you and wants you to know that from the garden to today, He has never changed....and never will.
The work of the Holy Spirit as revealed through the book of Acts is to testify of the truth...
Today you know in your heart that God is who He says He is...the Holy Spirit bears witness to you that God is who He says He is....not who man says He is....He is not a respecter of men.
He asks you to believe in Him, to trust Him....is that truly any different from what He asked Adam...
"Of the tree of knowledge do not eat...."
God loves you sweet child and He will lead you and guide you...
It's His promise to all who believe.
John 3:8 NKJV - “The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

In my opinion this message is the most needed truth that needs to be taught in the American Churches in these days! So many are under pastors who are tickling their ears, and have removed the fear of the Lord out of their teachings! This needs to be shared and spread throughout every social media platform on the internet! And shown to everyone who goes to churches that teach the heresy of OSAS!

Very true! I have lost my brother because we were deceived with this doctrine and others and he no longer talks to me because I was trying to share with him what I was learning vs. what we were taught. He believes you can live like the devil and still be saved. His name is Chris. Please pray for him. I pray for him all the time, and so does my church. I always ask for extra prayers where I can.

For me, when anyone quotes Paul more than The Messiah, they are looking at justification [payment in place of] while ignoring the sanctification (living like one called christ-ian) that must follow as James epistle illustrates.
Why would Jesus The Messiah state to all 7 contemporary churches of God in Revelation chapters 2 & 3 to OVERCOME if all they needed was to believe internally.
      Matthew 13:41-42
      [41]The Son of man shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and them which DO iniquity;
[42]And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
The Kingdom Jesus refers to is His, not the physical tribe of Judah.
He will separate the sheep from the goats, and reward everyone based on their works towards His people in Matthew 25:31-46
The King in Matthew 22 goes to inspect the guests for those invited to His Son's wedding and notices someone without a wedding garment.
Revelation 19:7-8 [The bride has gotten herself ready...] And to her, it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the RIGHTEOUS ACTS of the saints.
Foolish to claim the opposite of what Jesus Himself said, to believe a scholar in the Law like Paul will save them is as sad as the Rich man telling Abraham to send Lazarus back to save his brothers.
Luke 16:31 But he (Abraham) said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.’ ”
John 3:21 But he who DOES the Truth comes to the light, that his DEEDS may be clearly seen, that they have been DONE in God.”
There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth by those who do nothing but act like Christian Pharisees. All talk, no works.
      Matthew 16:27
[27]For the Son of man shall come in the glory of His Father with His angels; and then He shall reward every man according to his WORKS.
      2 Corinthians 5:10
For WE must ALL appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be rewarded for his DEEDS in the body, according to what he has DONE, whether good or bad.
      Romans 14:10
But why do you judge your brother, or why also do you despise your brother?
For WE will ALL stand before the judgment seat of God.
To be separate and learn to become kings and priests in the order of Melchizedek, we must look at the example of the Levitical priesthood. The Holy Bible, every jot & tittle is important.

However, I spent many years on a selfish and self-destructive path before repenting and returning to my faith. I never renounced my faith but wasn’t leading a godly life as I am striving to do now. I have a hard time feeling close to or loved by God and worry that it’s too late. This terrifies me. The loosing your salvation teaching can be torment with no rest in it.
Not saying it's not true but I was tormented for years. Jesus says who believes on Him and is born again has eternal life.
At some point I had to quit torturing myself, allowing the devil to have a field day with me and just rest in Christ. That's when I began to see growth.
      I can't keep myself.
      He is my keeper.
That's the beauty of it all.
Yes we have decisions to make but to actually keep myself safe and saved is grueling.
      Rest.
...and does this mean I have a license to sin? No way. I fight my sin and flesh everyday. The good fight. I don't want to let the Lord down (although I do at times) I want and do live a holy and zealous life for Him.
      Just a few thoughts...
      I know how you feel.
      Jesus Himself is the answer.
      Hope this helps.

I think you should take courage that you can at least identify poor doctrine, which is proof of the Holy Spirit working inside you and giving you discernment. A lot of professing Christians are completely blind to heretical doctrine and don't grow beyond this stage.

I hope this documentary can help heal the christian theology gap between my husband and I. Reading the bible saved me several years into our marriage, but it also prevented me from ever attending my husband's church as they are strong advocates of Once Saved Always Saved. My husband is swayed by his mother's opinion that I am not a real Christian because I won't go to their church. Why does Christendom have to be so messed up, that new believers are condemned by other supposed believers over misdirected church theology? Glad I read the bible for myself, and was not swept away by trying to fit in at the first church I came across. I implore everyone to read the bible for themselves. And thanks for making this film that highlights the verses and context of applicable bible verses on this subject. And especially, thank you for exposing the early Gnostic history, who today are Masons branched from the Jesuit tree.

I went blessed hope from 92 to 94. Then I became a calvinist for nearly 30 years. About a year ago I started going to a Lutheran Church and I decided that I'm just going to read the Bible and let it speak for itself and see what it really says and not let any type of man-made system interpret the scriptures. And I renounced Calvinism and one saved always saved. Now I'm a Christian who goes to a Lutheran Church and holds to Lutheran doctrine I'm not a calvinist and I'm not an Armenian either. I'm in the middle. I've watched this documentary a couple of times and if you're honest I don't see how you can argue with it. I don't agree with everything that this channel says, but for the most part, praise God for this channel and the other few ones that are willing to stand for the truth. When you know there's a possibility that you can fall away by your own decisions, then you're a little more careful about how you walk. If any doctrine teaches works salvation its lordship salvation that mixes law and gospel

a man of God but man it's like playing mental spiritual gymnastics with the doctrines
can these 2 things really be in the same universe?
and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
      Calvinist live in contradictions,
Paul washer will preach hard against sin and then say repentance is just turning from thinking you have a part in your salvation to knowing you don't, he will speak in absolute indignation against those who reject God and then say they had no choice unless God chose them from the beginning of time they could do nothing else but reject God
he will preach hard against sin and then say in his everyday practical life he has had idolatry for the last 30 years and not even in a repentant sorrowful I am coming clean way but a matter of fact this is the life way
I am not picking on Paul Washer its just an easy example of what Most prominent Calvinist must do in order to live with their doctrine and sound biblical
there are very few like James white who are at least honest enough to admit that according to his doctrines babies are evil and God ordained rape and worse

CALVINISM another demonic doctrine that alleviates the responsibilities of man because (as Calvinism states) everything has been predetermined. Think of it like this, since we know that we must endure to the end, if not we forfeit the gospel. In Calvinism, that would mean God changed his mind, making it double Calvinism. Flee this church your in.

I have had my dry times and struggles with sin, but I believe what the bible says...Confess your sin be cleansed. Realize everyday that Jesus is the author and finisher of your faith. He conquered sin and death. You cant fight that battle with will power or anything else. Upon salvation, the Holy Spirit dwells within you. Surrender to Him daily and ask Him to search your heart. He will lead you and direct your steps. He will illuminate the scripture, He will convict you of sin and produce the fruit of the Spirit within you that you can never produce on your own. It is only by being grafted into the true vine, Jesus Christ, that we can bear this fruit. Draw close to Him and He will keep you. When we are filled with Him, sin loses its attractiveness. Just remain on alert and never underestimate sins deceptiveness. I have known believers that walked away from their faith and bought into lies. Rather than practicing repentance they justified and celebrated sin. This is dangerous ground. Repentance means a change of heart and mind. We need to view sin as God does. He gave His son to cancel our sin debt. Walk in the Spirit and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace. I hope this helps.

@@Scary_Sarymaybe you should stop asking this question and workout your own salvation with fear and trembling. Don't be the one to hear, "flee from me, I never knew you you worker of iniquity." If we go on sinning after receiving the knowledge of the truth there no longer remains sacrifice for those sins.

Thank you for this content! though my church does take side on the OSAS doctrine, we are constantly taught that once we have professed our faith in Jesus and accepted him, we should not just go out and do whatever we want sitting comfortably bcs of the idea that we are "always saved", rather we should continue in our pursuit of Christ, being transformed by him and being not just doers of the word but sharing the good news to the lost, and much like what others have said in the comments, you cannot truly be saved if you have not been living your life worthy of God's calling esp when you have gone through the known mechanics of praying the sinner's prayer, and so forth. though i can say i have solid accountability within my church my only prayer is that we have deliverance ministries within because i feel that many are still in bondage of sin and esp with generational curses.

OT was always forgivness of sins past. Rm3:25KJV. Leading people to assume they are automaticly forgiven. Hopefully believers find it important to learn to show themselves approved. Dangerous doctrines or even daily life stuff can lead people to be angery with God not understanding what He might be doing in ones life. How is one to understand if they are not hearing/
obeying and knowing The Word. His people perish for a lack of knowledge... doesnt go on to read that He saves them anyway. This is a very, very good video. The more I discuss and debate with others in Christ over various doctrines (OSAS, Perseverance of the Saints, Calvinism, the Rapture), the more I find they are not willing to lay aside their presuppositions and at least consider the biblical evidence I present to them.

Thank you. I moved to the south and started attending a Baptist Church and this has been my biggest point of contention. They say "OSAS" like a mantra. They call churches that don't believe OSAS "unbiblical" but I never hear them discuss theology much beyond that. It's like they've been trained most heavily on this one point. I've been attending almost 2 years now, and I can see more clearly how destructive this is in the church body and the lives of the members. Almost every sermon is an attempt to get the people to stop thinking they have a license to sin. The pastors know more than anyone how the people really don't even try not to sin. But the caveat of OSAS is always there, so these messages are in one ear and out the other. The church is unproductive in it's mission. The people are idolatrous and boastful. Our church has the nicest cars in the parking lot and the most well-kept, state of the art facilities. That's what it is known for. That's what it's people prioritize.

Wow…this is so true. I was saved out of a lifetime of lip lip profession only… just 6 years ago. Attend a reformed baptist church where I know the pastor seeks to honor the Lord with expository preaching of the whole counsel of God. But his “seminary theology” seems rote re: these issues (in the docu) and I always leave feeling frustrated about these very things! Oh Lord, open our eyes to the TRUTH of Your Word! We are sanctified by Your Word and Your Spirit IS Truth! Praise the Lord!

What I find very disconcerting about preachers and pastors who promote belief in OSAS is that many of them claim that you're not saved if you don't believe in OSAS. Faith in Christ is no longer enough - it is Christ plus belief in OSAS that saves. What is ironic about this is that OSAS pastors furiously deny any possibility of Conditional Salvation, yet they make salvation conditional on belief in OSAS. Their poor grasp on basic logic stops them from seeing this contradiction.

I watched the documentary. It is well done, full of Biblical truth. Once saved always saved is the most dangerous doctrine churches teach today. It gives “Christians” a license to sin. I saw it first hand in a church I was a part of (A Calvary Chapel), there wasn’t any deliverance from sin, no accountability, no repentance. Without accountability there is not any growth, as because they don’t have to seek God anymore, they are eternally set according to this false teaching.

I watch a channel called Standing For Truth and it’s primarily a Christian debate channel although Donny does do videos related to Christianity, end times, creation etc and I doubt you have the time but I wish one of you would debate him on this topic. Osas just doesn’t feel right to me because what about the people who were genuinely born again at one point but have now ventured into new age or even literal satanism. Are they still saved in the minds of the osas people?? 🤷🏻‍♂️ I guess their argument would be “oh they were never saved to begin with” but you can’t say that for everyone. I agree with pretty much everything Donny says, especially regarding creation and evolution being a lie but I wish someone as knowledgeable as you two would debate him on this topic because it’s so important and could lead to people being led to hell

"You can't be swept away by dopamine!" 😂😂😂
    This documentary is true.
"But if they had stood in My counsel, and had caused My people to hear My words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings." - Jeremiah 23:22.

The other issue here is that so many people claim the early church taught what they believe. The irony here is that this video promotes the idea that the early church taught ' Arminianism ' until Augustine comes along later and changes things. But the problem here is that Arminianism is another branch of Calvinism. It actually comes from Calvinism
