If possible please convey what I felt about this interview with Dhananjay..
Firstly when Dhananjay said when he looks his old films he feels he could have done better
Secondly when he said some magic happens when you perform a particular scene or film which cannot be repeated.. Hindi film actress Rekha too felt the same..
She said today when she watch her old film Kalyug she feels she could have done better
In the same manner she said when she watched Umrao Jaan some magic happened and she can't repeat the same..
Finally as far as comfort level with his heroines
Whether they're newcomers or established
Whatever I have seen he's same with Moksha , Amruta Iyengar or even with Suman Ranganath..
This happens only when a person is genuine and if good at heart..

Yes, he is making very ordinary films. The scene and setups are similar. So, he doesn't have the space to perform. My observation of Dhananjaya is that he performs exceptionally when the director is good. So he needs to continue doing work with people he only feels comfortable with for a while. He grows bigger in the coming years. Then he can work with other people.

What do you mean? He has very varied characters, he's a very good actor and as a producer he has backed some very good movies. He is doing well and is a strong force for our industry.
Some of his movies have been average, but that doesn't mean he's overrated. I hope he continues to back good writers.
