BTS is a not just a boyband you guys. They are family. Real people. They are not fake. They are not afraid of their imperfections. Thus, they made an album abt loving yourself because they themselves know how it feels and BTS has made me a better person. As i continue to be an ARMY for years, i never doubted them for a second. They deliver and slay every comeback. And every song has a message. I'm sad for those ppl who keeps hatin' on them just because they labeled KPOP as gay. Well, there are many talented groups in KPOP. Maybe BTS has became this big because fans saw them. The real them. Their own selves. No sugarcoats. The most humble persons. They have everything but they still have imperfections and they accept it. These seven amazing people is a heaven sent for me. I suffered from depression before, and after I met them, and listened to them, their struggles, and suddenly their happiness became mine too. Maybe that's why many of us ARMY's defends them to the haters because they didn't know how they've worked hard for this. How good, young boys they are. ARMY's was there in every step of their way that's why BTS is always thanking their fandom. Always dedicating for their fans because BTS themselves believed in their fans. And the fans did too. This comeback has been the most amazing comeback for me. For once in my life, i found them. And i am always a proud fan every milestone they make. To their haters, BTS is not your typical KPOP that u labeled. And just because they are stereotyped (KPOP in general) doesn't mean they suck. So just like BTS said in IDOL, "YOU CAN'T STOP ME LOVING MYSELF." so yeah. MIC DROP

BTS never believe they are worthy of so much love from fans. They are insecure in a good sense that they only trust Army and do not trust their talent. That is why they always try so hard to please fans. They keep saying they are afraid of this big love disappearing. Suga was so afraid he cried during shower after AMA performance. Early this year, most of members struggled because of that. They did not think they deserve such fame. That is why we can relate to their lyrics about loving yourself. They may be rich, but they are not materialistic. They want to be happy and they still need to find their path. So we can still walk with them. I am so happy you felt the same for this song!

I just watched a clip of them performing this and hearing the entire stadium sing along was magical. I'm lucky enough to be going to their concert in a couple of weeks and I have no doubt I will cry, probably multiple times. I have a lot going on in my life right now, such as a divorce after 20 years and everything that comes with that, so I'm not loving myself very much right now. BTS has been so therapeutic to listen to. I can't put it into words. Probably my favorite line from this song is when Jimin sings "When even the scars made by my own mistake make my constellation". They are lyrical masters.
BTS has been a help to me, as well. It's weird how we can't put it into words how much they and their music helps heal the wounds of our pasts but I just call it "magic". I hope things go better for you, fellow ARMY. Our boys and all of ARMY are with you on your journey.
@@crayolaclouds2696 Thank you so much for the kind words. My daughter whose 17 introduced me to BTS probably 2 years ago and since the beginning of this year I've become as big a fan as her. I think it's because most of the songs on LYT and LYA are about love, self-love, removing masks, being authentic, etc which really hits home for me right now. I'm definitely an older fan at 48, but music and lyrics don't have an age. I appreciate them using their platform to make the world a better place. Thanks again for your kindness. 😄

Not gonna lie, this was what made me search about the boys. I've heard about them a lot and this was my turning point into being Army. This song really helped me a lot and seriously saved me. It's amazing and will always be an anthem.

Dude, that song acutally made me cry multiple times. I just had hard time in college when i got kicked out because i hate about myself until I heard BTS for the first time, that blew me away to start listening kpop again i stopped since last year but now i'm finally an ARMY once and for all.
