3+1 is fine, 27inch wheel should be around 215.0 BUT for a precise setup you should measure the rolling distance of your front tyre. Place a measure tape on the ground and measure the distance of your front wheel from valve to valve, here is an example: digit isth-cam.com/video/OFC6_ILNUvc/w-d-xo.html This method is way more precise than any chart, because it gives you real world measurement, based on how worn is your tyre really are.

get the radius of your tire in mm, multipy by 2xpi, put that in your wheel circumference.

It's automatic, but the clock is always on... however still got you plenty of battery life, more than a year.
