Algorithm brought me here in 2022. This is baller. Raw, beautiful and electric. I love this. 🥲❤️❤️❤️ The rhythm of the universe pulsing with the guitar and the entire band. Wow!!!!
I read that someone compared them to "The Band"...I agree with the statement..the amount of talent within everyone brings out the best when they are together...all top notch musicians but combined they somehow transcend their own abilities and make great music..strong upfront musicianship....
I recorded the video off the livestream, & this set turned me into a Wilco fan. I've since downloaded most of their albums, but think this set from the live show is a better song collection than any one album contains, although my fave album is the one they do the most songs from here, "The Whole Love". Wilco & Mazzy Star were my two fave bands from Primavera.
@@guitarstuffs1236 by far imho, their live performances are above and beyond the studio sets as is in most cases, unless your just a studio band like steely Dan for example, and even sdans live shows are better honestly so..Tweedys solo shows are outstanding also as they almost double as comedy shows..just so happens his natural frequency is naturally just funny, self deprecating and unique perspectives
at least you took the time to inquire. i wasnt looking to cause trouble. i never heard the band before and i saw them in the suggestion bar so i thought i'd check it out. the thing is, it was in the suggestion bar of stuff i do like, which is completely unrelated, so i was taken aback. and truthfully any kind of music is something inspiring when its well done. i dont know anybody who only listens to one kind of music. but wth these guys the writing is not there, let alone the performance.
You should check out some bootlegs from around the time YHF came out. The arrangement of Spiders here is the way it originally started out, before the "kraut-rock" version on the album. It's great to be able to hear how Wilco's songs have progressed over the years. Spiders has come full circle!

The Band shoud have had four lead singers, listen to "Twilight" with Robbie on lead vocals. Wilco is perfect just the way they are. Peace everybody wherever you are.
Good concert, but the sound WAS "muddy" until I played it through my BBE VG360...THAT made the difference! That made this concert very enjoyable, instead of frustrating!
not sure who you are or where your life is going, but I feel as though you might be entirely wrong. what do you like? I won't go out of my way to shit on it. just curious as to your motive here.
Wilco hasn't done a great album since Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, hasn't done a decent album since A Ghost Is Born, and generally hasn't been a great band since Jay Bennett left that band after YHF. Tweedy wrote/writes the songs, but Bennett was his sounding-off board and overall studio wiz. Post-Bennett Wilco is uninspired tripe. Sorry to sound hateful, but there really is a demarcation point of overall quality with this once-great band, and it's pretty easy to spot if one has followed this band from the very beginning.
Oh, as musicians they're top-notch. But as with a lot of aging bands, inspiration and creativity in songwriting usually gives way to settling down into craft and show-offy musicianship. The inventiveness that this band was known for disappeared once Jay Bennett left the band.
Pat's piano playing on How to Fight Loneliness was so beautiful and mesmerizing.

Fantastic performance of all songs, but especially of Impossible Germany and Jesus, Etc.
This is amazing...i completely enjoyed from first to last minute...
mato So true. Amazing performance.
What an amazing show, Tweedy & Co never disappoint!

God I love glen! he knows exactly when to throw down and when to play it down

I think kicking television live in chicago is the best!

Best live band ever
The version of Spiders (Kidsmoke) here is perfection.
I was going to say that! I can’t believe no one else commented on it. Incredible rendition
A veure si pots pujar aquest concert també!
Enhorabona per tots els videos.
Once again kick ass thank you for the post
Esto fue en el Primavera Sound 2012. Yo estuve allí :)
Would love a still photograph of 32:45. What a band.
Does the extended guitar play remind you of Marquee Moon at all?
Listen to all of the Wilco album Sky Blue Sky; It is their best in my opinion. This performance only has one song off of it (Impossible Germany).
Blimey !!! First track is a whirlwind, stupendous ....
Holy crap, not a single dislike. Wilco must be troll repellant.
44:32 How To Fight Loneliness
this is f*cking awesome

Despite Arturo, Wilco is the best, then and now!

Jay Ferrar sitting in on the drums at 29:40. :)
Not sure which version I like better. I'll check out those bootlegs though
Saw them in brooklyn. He said we smelled the most like bacon of any crowd ever. Funny dude
Tweedy actually looks slightly like Neil Young.
This version of poor places seems a bit hurried compared to the album version.
yo so que la comento :) Wilco es mi banda, siempre me emociona

AWWW HEELLLL NO!
YOU GOTTA BE FUCKIN' ME!
Maybe he is proud they visited his city?
Na, they have enough fans. They dont need you to watch their videos.
Ens veiem demà 15 octubre al LICEU !!!!
the re-arrangement of kidsmoke blew my mind, but jeff's voice was a little off.
Great performance but their version of Kidsmoke is a bit off. The groove on A Ghost Is Born is immortal.
jazzmaster…
Good concert, but the sound WAS "muddy" until I played it through my BBE VG360...THAT made the difference! That made this concert very enjoyable, instead of frustrating!
In a way, but Wilco does not have three lead singers the way The Band did.
Nels Cline and Johnny Greenwood are the same person but different in their way.
Pop music. Son Volt blows this away.

one word to describe their sound TIRED
Nells is too busy
Ni un español que le guste wilco? Solo comentarios de ingleses, norteamericanos .
tambien soy seguidor de wilco tal vez no lo leas por que pasaron 3 años :-)
god this band sucks. and can someone please get this singer a bucket, cuz he needs something to help him carry a tune.

^^^ well there's one man's opinion.

+Arturo Andrade Your an idiot
No, I have taste.
+Arturo Andrade ... not much from what I can tell . You must be a Justin Beiber guy ... Or maybe Kanye ?
Kind of boring.
