Quite impressed by this thing from what you’ve shown, ground weapons seem much easier to employ with the only downside being you can’t choose to use one pylon at a time and can’t change the amount you fire at a time; but the sight auto depressing seems to work pretty nicely - easier than eyeballing it in the full fid. Selective jettison being one button is definitely easier than the FF, except you don’t seem to be able to ditch the pylons. I assume you can manipulate the flaps more if you want to, assuming you bind it up. The gun doors being open all the time is a bit of a shame but isn’t going to cost you anything in a fight. There doesn’t seem to be many reasons to bother with the FF version from a PvP perspective, outside of maybe a few fuel flow tricks to get more range and being able to get rid of the pylons for the sake of parasitic drag. Seems dumb in retrospect but I didn’t think it would share the same model as the FF version either, it’s nice to see the station select switches actually move too. Can you uncage the later Sidewinder variants? Because if so people might as well just get this version.
@@Bullet4MyEnemy You cannot uncage the sidewinder sadly, has no effect in 60s tho. You can just fly it in nav mode if you don’t want the gun doors to open.
I kinda wish there was an FC version of all DCS planes. I love full fidelity, but there's a lot of days I just don't have the energy to mess with all of it and just want to kill baddies on a server
Nice shots! Even better with the Brazilian Air Force paint scheme! 🔥
That belly shot on the SU25 was real nice.
