- Facial wax and I have a love hate relationship, because it works well for the purpose of removing hair, but it can get pretty messy. I really need to be more careful with how I handle it or else one day, I probably won't be able to fix that mess. Hehe

I was making wax and I put the wax in a thin plastic container.... bad idea. The wax melted through the container and spilled all over me and gave me big burns and all over the counter and floor. This was just now

I saw someone say that acetone can be used. You can try it and tell me put it works out for you. You can also use a blow dryer and place the heat on high to see if that will soften it up so you can wipe away.

You wrote this comment 3 months ago, so hopefully by now you've found a solution. If not, take a piece of tissue paper, take the top layer of the tissue off so its just the under-layer left and lay it over the surface where the wax has spilled. Now take your iron and go over it with the iron until you see the wax coming up, then use the other half of the tissue paper for the rest. if you notice it's not coming off, your tissue might still be too thick, or if you notice its too thin that its burning then obviously just use a thicker sheet. Best of luck!
How do you get it off of hardwood floors?
You can try the same method. Someone had suggested using a clothes iron instead.

You need to apply extreme heat (hence hot pan or Iron) and something cotton to soak up the softened wax with.
Apply the same method, but just use a really small pot with a round as possible bottom
buy a hair dryer. or use the long nose lighters from dollar tree
