Thanks, kids... Brian starts on piano..with his guitar in his LAP the whole time -- but the switch to Brian guitar & Freddie back to piano... is smoothest ever... this was a BAND, not just Freddie & some guys... lol
I appreciate very much your enthusiasm towards Queen. This is a beautiful ballad written by Brian about a friend's troubles, but it's said, that this friend was Freddie whose relationship ended around that time. Freddie was a great storyteller, he was able to make you believe, that he really needed somebody to love or someone to save him. 😉Please, check out Cool Cat for a very different vibe, but there is no live version.
Andrea...educate yourself...Brian’s friend was going through a divorce...nothing to do with Freddie....you like making up stories...I’m adding yours to my collection😂
This is an amazing song to see done live. I've been a fan of Queen since the early seventies and had the chance to see them live twice The 1st time was on this tour at Madison Square Garden in September 1980. This was a new new song off that album and over 40 years later I still get a chill hearing it.
Freddie drinks tea with honey on stage to keep his throat from drying out. He likes beer but doesn't drink it when performing, he didn't want to risk burping into the mic, it would be disrespectful to the audience.
Yay! Queen! My favorite band. Freddie’s voice is so angelic. Their songs & all 4 wrote songs is what makes their music so diverse. Incredible live! Miss Freddie so much. ❤😢. He didn’t just have beer he always kept water and tea with honey too. The cups are all the band members drinks! 🙄
GUYS! IF YOU SEE THIS: FYI, THERE’S A LONGER VERSION OF “DRAGON ATTACK” AT MONTREAL THAT’S BETTER… “DRAGON ATTACK” REPRISE VERSION (When I say “longer” all I mean is that the “Dragon Attack” performance was part of a medley… It started out w “Now I’m Here”, transitioned to “Dragon Attack”, then went right into a REPRISE of “Now I’m Here”. The “Dragon Attack” video that almost everyone reacts to, cuts off suddenly at the end. The Reprise edit of the video, just DOESN’T cut off abruptly… it includes another SURPRISING switch-up to include the “Now I’m Here” Reprise at the end.🖖
Love how y’all react to K-pop to Queen! I have been the biggest Queen fan for years! Y’all have to react to young Queen too! Queen in the 70s was great! They’re rock n roll medley they did near the end of the 70s era concerts is a great one!
The amount of beer in that bottle is the same through the whole concert - - it is a prop. You can see it if you watch more of the concert - . Congratulations - you are among few who listen and can HEAR that Brian has switched to the piano before Freddie runs down the stairs! - and he wrote the song as well!! - They killed it - one of my favorites.
The whole band could play a couple of different musical instruments. Freddie plays guitar and the Piano, Brian plays guitar and Piano, John Deacon plays lead (his first guiter of choice in his younger days, before switching to bass), bass guitar and keyboard. You see John playing Piano in the music video for Your my Best Friend which he wrote. Roger plays Drums and Guitar, you can check out his band The Cross and you can see him on stage playing guitar and he is lead singer. Also in the One Vision extended music video you see John Deacon on drums in between clips of Roger!!... All four wrote songs and composed the music. All four also wrote no.1 hits. All could sing individually apart from John Deacon who always said he couldn't sing lol. 🎶 Brian, Roger and Freddie put out their own solo work.... in between being Queen. Freddie designed the Queen Logo, he studied Art and Graphic Design. Brian made his guitar as a teenager with his dad, calling it The Red Special, and he did Astrophysics and is Dr Brian May, also newly knighted and is also Sir Dr Brian May. John studied Electronics, building the famous Deacy Amp which Brian used to get the unique guitar sounds from. And Roger originally studied Dentistry, but gave it up and studied Biology. They were very clever talented musicians who each contributed and played their own parts within Queen.
It's funny how everyone thinks Freddie drinks the beers on the piano, when there are three other members in the band...and it's not easy to balance your beer on a guitar (I know. I tired 😀) Also, if you watch the video carefully you'll see that Brian is wearing his guitar while playing the piano.
Ach cording to Freddie's roadie, Ratty, who was the one who put out the drinks on the piano for each concert, Freddie wanted water with lemon and honey along with beer available but never tea.
The Heineken was strategically placed for media exposure!! The filming of this concert was to be released into Cinemas at a later date. It was filmed in 35mm .. remastered yrs later into HD quality. Thank God!!
Yes, of course there are drinks on the piano, but more often than not, they remain almost intact the whole performance. Hardly the actions of some kind of alcoholic!
Burning Mercury drink beer and other things onstage simply to wet his whistle for the next time no for emerging voices social Drinker and beer and champagne or his favorite thank you

So beautiful ❤
Oh, you must absolutely do Dragon Attack too… the Montreal version is really good, but I like the version at Milton Keynes Bowl ‘82 even better
GUYS!

FYI, THERE’S A LONGER VERSION OF
“DRAGON ATTACK” AT MONTREAL THAT’S BETTER…
“DRAGON ATTACK” REPRISE VERSION

Oh yes please react to the whole medley you won’t be disappointed ❤

My favorite Queen song along with Hammer to Fall.
Both drinks are on the piano, and in Wembley videos he takes a sip of beer. ❤️❤️

Another amazing song to react to is PLAY THE GAME , live at Milton Keynes and then do the official video for this song
Keep going with Queen....
of course we will!

Freddie was drinking tea during Live Aid concert in 1985 and on Wembley in 1986 because he got problems with his throat.

The Heineken bottle on the piano is "product placement" because they financed the tour. The cups are tea & honey.
Great reaction ! Thx for doing this one ! Dragon attack is great too! :)
The beer is for the other members of the band! Freddie drank lemon and honey water for his voice
Stagehands put a variety of drinks out on the piano just in case. You’ll see that in live performances.
Watch queen live aid your mind will be blown❤
The beer was product placement for the movie they were filming
Now you have to do Dragon Attack at this same concert, amazing
He drinks honey and lemon too :)
Cool cat please!🇬🇧🎼🇬🇧
Would love you to react to Killer Queen/I’m In Love With My Car medley from this same Montreal concert loving your reactions a new subscriber here ❤❤
I like the official music video of this song better.
Freddie actually chose a shot of vodka if available!
He doesn't drink beer. Those are for the other members. He drinks tea and honey for his voice. You can't drink alcohol and sing.
Yes, of course there are drinks on the piano, but more often than not, they remain almost intact the whole performance. Hardly the actions of some kind of alcoholic!
👋👋👋
Oh you have to do Dragon attack at this concert, please
is it just me or did Freddie not seem keen on having brian on the piano
he seemed distracted by it!
Freddie only wore Wrangler Jeans and you must know buy now he was not born Freddie Mercury
Burning Mercury drink beer and other things onstage simply to wet his whistle for the next time no for emerging voices social Drinker and beer and champagne or his favorite thank you
Why are you so obsessed with whst he is drinking just listen to the song and dtop interrupting it's boring
