    just staring my nail tech journey (after covid) & living in the US, nail prices definitely have been a big topic of convo over here too.!!

      I think its particularly tricky given most of us work independently! But I feel positive for the future 💕 together we can make the change!

    Love the powerbond trick. I never thought to use it before buttercream! I’m totally trying that on my next set

      You are going to fall in love with it!!! Powerbond is one of my fav products right now - it's amazing as a marbling gel with buttercreams!

    wonderful video! I really appreciate how you said ‘next time i would change this and use a reference picture’ to make your next art application better.

      Absolutely! I've really adopted the idea lately that I really don't know everything (even though generally I do know *some* stuff) and so it's totally OK to do my best at something but also recognize how I could improve in the future!!

      @@reverienzye it’s a lot of work to edit this type of content so I just patiently wait for another one to come out 😂 I was wondering if you could flat matte before nail art or if it’s better to just buff the surface? I’ve recently committed to light elegance and still trying things out ❤

    • @reverienz
      @reverienz  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      If you are using ButterCreams or gel paints for art you just need *less* inhibition so you can do the same as I have here pre flat matte, and do a quick wipe of the cured buttercream base
      Normally I am working fast enough that I'll even go right in on buttercream because most cure with a very minimal inhibition HOWEVER
      If I was painting straight onto JimmyGel or Lexy Line I would either cleanse and buff or flat matte because those both have more inhibition once cured
      Does that help?

    Hi! How many RPM's were you working at when debulking at the beginning?

    • @reverienz
      @reverienz  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey gal! This is very much specific to the bit you are using, but with the Speedy bit from Light Elegance, the recommended RPM range is 12-15krpms with the LE Zippy efile. Sometimes the recommendation for carbide bits is "the faster the better" but in my experience it actually totally depends on each individual bit!

    I'm using builder gel as a base and I've watched a ton of instructional videos on use of an e-file for gel removal. Everyone seems to use different speeds and bits. Your gel removal looks pretty effective so I'm just wondering what speed and bit grit you are using in this video. Thanks.

      Hey hun!
      I use the Zippy Efile and Speedy Bit for removal and debulking
      Efiles are 💯 power tools and you need in person training to understand how to safely use each bit, what they are made to do and how to respect them and use them to enhance your professional service.

    Love this. I'm gonna assuming your into art in general? How did you get into doing nails?

    • @reverienz
      @reverienz  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey gal! Yes - I have always been interested in art since childhood so it definitely helps with doing nails now!
      I got into nails just for fun, through watching TH-cam and actually just doing stamping with normal Polish. I then wanted access to high quality gels, and had some disposable income so I just literally got my license for myself!! Then, I loved it so much I decided to give it a go full time!

    Left a question yesterday and couldn't read the reply so I deleted the comment and am trying again today. Can you tell me the speed of your drill and bit type that you are using for gel removal? Thanks.

    • @reverienz
      @reverienz  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for your persistence 💕 I love the energy 😇
      Each bit is made for a particular purpose and therefore requires understanding around how to use it safely (speed, direction etc)
      I make it look easy because I have completed in person training! And 1000% recommend anyone to do the same
      Efiles are power tools - would you learn how to use a drop saw from a video? 😅 I wouldn't 😅

      @@reverienz I am being very cautious in my use and only on myself. Just interested in what others are doing. I know I can't expect to use it like a pro. If I had access to a course I'd take it but I doubt it is available unless you take a full nail tech/cosmetology course.

      Hillary Dawn Herrara has an online class targeting at home users to get you on the right track and I don't believe there's any prerequisites
      Its only $50!
