I have a feeling these guys didn't have much if any training on being a farrier. They cut the one hoof so short that it bled, they didn't file down the edges after doing their rough cuts. The way they handled the donkey by hitting and yelling at it, then at the end when the donkey slipped on the steel plate the one guy laughed. A simple fall could break an equines leg.
Does you nails bleed when you cut them? Are their any blood vessels in your nails?

@@shakellw4634@shakellw4634 Just because humans dont bleed when we cut our nails doesn't mean anything. Shockingly Donkeys are not human. They have different anatomy. Horses, Cows, Donkeys all can and do bleed if their hooves are cut to deep. They then need antibiotics and a wrap put on it to protect them. Perhaps you should think before you write, when its very clear you see blood pouring out after he cut it, it bled some, then he cut again causing far worse bleeding, and then just threw his leg down back into manure and dirt without a care. Horrible hoof cutter, because that is no farrier, just someone with a blade and 8 minutes of training.

In UK and all other caring countries, the feet would be x rayed to check where is safe to cut. I wish experienced farriers would do some training abroad - places like this could learn basic hoof care. Even just filing as the hoof grows? Stresses me out watching how he chops at the poor donkeys feet 😮

This is a very sad case but the donkey finally got help. No wonder the donkey was having a fit with the abscesses in his hoves, was painful to be cut!

These people are horrible for the abuse they put that donkey in. If it bleeds you don't cut anymore there. I've never owned a donkey, horse, or cow but I know that. They didn't put any antibiotic on it. Wow
I believe this is in China and they are very different in how animals are treated as well as taken care of and unfortunately it doesn't benefit the animal most of the time. So very sad. I'm appreciative for the guy doing the trimming.

This man doesn't treat these donkeys in a manner that's up to my country's standards, but these animals walk MUCH better than before they came to him. I've seen videos where he offered to trim hoofs for free because the owner didn't want to pay to have it done. And that partucular animal's hooves were almost as bad as the animal in this video. So, let's not be so quick to judge. I've seen Amish horses with dead eyes because the life light had been taken out of them, and that's in the U.S. These donkeys leave better than when they arrived. Hopefully the society will catch up with others that value an animal's life more than simply a "thing", but rather a sentient being.
Only 3 things that occurred with this poor animal unless the owner passed on and nobody was able to take care of it. If that not it, its one of three things below.
1) Laziness to take care of the animal
2) Ignorance
3) Just pure neglect

These people are just as cruel as the owners who let these animals get in this condition. Hooves are bleeding, no concern for the animal being in pain. No woner they are kicking. Such a backwards country. I can't watch it anymore.
