I have severe arthritis, so I adore and commend you for your attention to details like moldability of the clay. So forward thinking when it comes to different abilities and bodies.
I've poured a lot of paint 😅 Less colors work better for smaller pours otherwise you get it looking muddy very soon. DecoArt is a nice brand to use. White is a big must in a pouring pack. You can let the paint dry in the silicone mold and use the dried sheet in other craft projects like jewelry 💡 A varnish to seal it all is nice to have on the kit too. I love how the air dry clay looks, looks like what we call foam clay. Maybe use some sanding paper before adding it to the plastic?
You got my daughter and I into paint pour back when you did the bear! We had so much fun with it but have so many supplies left. We were going to try finger knitting a blanket this weekend but we may get the paint pour stuff out now! We LOVED your Creatures of Darkness kit. You have inspired some serious mom/daughter experiences.
I got so excited because I initially thought that Sika was back during the b-roll footage at the beginning of the video. If your schedules and bodies (spoonies will understand what I mean by the bodies part) permit it, would love to see Sika come back for advent calendar unnboxings especially if they involve fidgets or food! #FeedSika
Thank you so much for this video ❤❤❤ I have never been interested in trying paint pouring, though I enjoy watching it. But this is my first time truly being interested in getting the kit for how amazing these bears turn out 🤩🤩🤩 I need these all over my house along with the big ones you made 😊😊😊
omg thought this was gonna be just u making more bears as an extra video, but that fact your making your own kit is even better!! so proud of u jackie and wish u the best with this kit
Every since I saw you and Sika do the bear paint pours I’ve wanted to do some myself with some vinyl toys have had just lying around. I finally have all the supplies now I just have to do it! So the timing of this kit is very ironic and I’m excited!! Also big hugs to you and Sika as well I know she’s has it rough lately ❤❤❤❤
Here to hype your kits! Looking forward to all your future endeavors. I've bought both your "Not Another..."kits and without bias I say they were jammed packed with value. You really care about balancing price with quality, give users continued use/play so it's not a "one & done" and you truly understand the needs of crafters. Cheers to you Jackie!
Yay another craft kit. I'm still working on the snack box. I have editing to do to show it off. I hope i can be able to get this kit as I've never tried acrylic pour and have been wanting to for years now. Look forward to see more about it.
I think the grains who get the kit can use sculpy to sculpt removable things on the bear (to check the fit). Then detach the clay pieces & bake separately. You’ll need glue to put them back on but it’s a workaround for people who don’t like air dry clay
Tho i love all your craft kits that you bring out because you do an amazing job to make sure we have everything we need, you never seem to actually do crafts anymore and its sad. I found your channel because of your clay and resin rings back in the day and now its just mini toys and fidget spinners, I hope one day you move back to doing the craft side of things :)
They look like 3d. In order for PLA baking to work, the 3D print has to be heated to a low temperature, higher than the glass transition point of the plastic but lower than the melting point. The sweet spot is between 110°Celsius. The temperature still depends on the filament and oven used, so you may have to go lower or higher to achieve the desired heat. With that, you may have to experiment to get the exact temperature.
I’ve done a few paint pours, and love the process. I really like using the bottoms of coke bottles to make flower patterns and silicone oil to crate cells. It’s very cool to watch it develop. I love the idea of this craft kit - but I would say I think the paint pours might be more dramatic on a larger model, just to see the layers developing? They do look good on the smaller one though. When I did my pours, I used plastic push pins under the canvas frames to create little legs to hold the canvas away from the surface I was working on. That meant the paint dripped off rather than pooling.
Omg! This is sooooo up my alley! I haven’t bought any of the other craft kits because I’m just too clumsy to work with plaster (plus, I don’t like the texture). But this? This I can see SO MANY POSSIBILITIES! I want to take it to my craft table right now and start playing with it!
@@NerdEJackieVlogs I swear, I’ve been thinking about this for the past few hours, lol. Do you think it’s reasonable to be able to cut off the bear ears to add kitty or puppy ears?
Great video! You have inspired me to make my craft kit with my looms. But I’ll wait until I’m well known to do that. All your videos have inspired me to create things. Thank you. When I woke up this morning, I thought you followed me. Lol, I was so excited but it was someone else. I guess I wasn’t fully awake yet.
I’m so excited! I keep a container of the base that turns my paints into pour paints and I love using it for wood grains on my props. My parents laugh because I have your other crafts and I still use everything in it for my larger cosplay items. The air brush was a godsend. Though I do wonder if you have any suggestions for clear sealants.
Me too. I have been doing a lot of customization with different mediums, but mostly acrylic and would love your suggestions on clear protective coatings. Matte, Glossy, ones that can go through the dishwasher, etc.
Gloomy bear is my bear 😍im obsessed with him 😅 i NEED this 🖤 the only thing is that his claws are missing, his claws are what makes him "gloomy bear" 😜
One thing you want to change is the jump ring. Even though it's open to put on the bear. It would real easy for the bear to fall off if the jump ring is not properly closed.
I've never played with acrylic pouring, i've watched a lot of people playing with it and it's something I've always been curious about though. so I'm in. i want it. and the Gremlin is adorable. I'm thinking dice gremlins. lots of dice gremlins
These are super cute! Last time I did a "paint pour" project, I was in high school, trying to replicate a Jackson Pollock, and it was the night before it was due. My teacher picked it up and the paper ripped in half and plopped onto the floor...lmfao That was more than 12 years ago, so I think I should probably try it in some variation again lmfao
A new kit?! YAY! Though that reminds me I had so many more plans for the first and second one that I haven't gotten around to yet... Nor I have I finished couloring all the pages...😅
That is so interesting I never done paint pouring an I am excited but kinda wondering what you would need to customized the some stuff like if you don't want big ears can you clip them and used clay to make it look how you want
If you're wanting to look into something that can be a little bit more sculptable than air-dry clay there's such a thing called resin clay which is absolutely awesome, I'm not sure if it'll fit in the box or not because I know it can also be a little pricey but just an idea 😊
This may be a silly idea, but how about to include something like paw stamp, to decorate the bottom of the figurines? Just to use the paint to create toe beans :D
I'm excited! Been wanting to do this since watching the video you did with Sika but I've had a hard time finding the bears (oddly enough a store near us just released some kits for Christmas but the bears look a bit meh) 👀
Just a thought. I watch a lot of paint and resin pouring videos. I read a few comments on this video about how it seems like a waste of paint. Some artists that do paint pouring like to put a canvas under the pour. That way you utilize more of the paint. So, you end up with your initial pouring project, but you also get a bonus paint pouring canvas piece. The bear is pretty small, so maybe a thought would be to include a smaller canvas? they get two projects in one basically. Not a huge canvas, maybe a little 6x6. If the kit has 2-3 bears, include one canvas per bear???? just a thought. The videos I've seen doing this concept are pretty cool because the two projects complement each other since they have the same color scheme. :)
Gloomy bear is an actual thing, I had a Gloomy bear teddy 15 years ago. I’m pretty sure it’s Japanese and is pink and normally has blood around it’s mouth and claws. I’ve noticed that it’s got popular again recently. I don’t know if it or it’s name is copyrighted?

Gloomy bear im guessing this is based on it, is a japanese character that has blood on his claws and attacks others including the boy who saved him/adopted him. As he was adopted young, and grew up into a violent lil bear. I love the character, and have some plush toys lol.
