Where I learned to play the trumpet, the Bass Tuba is called the Baritone and it's what freshmen we started off with and we had only one girl who became a Tubist and she was a very deep Alto. She also had manly arms because those Tubas are not light! They're on a magnitude of fifty times heavier than a trumpet! And even though I was a somewhat of a deeper voice, I stayed on trumpet because my lungs were not the greatest. I passed on whatever knowledge that I could to the freshmen before leaving because I signed up for Vocational Ed.

@@learningmusichub i tried it today and its easier than i thought its just heavier than i thought and its weird that the sound comes from the side instead of the front
In orchestra, we don't use Euphonium (except if some piece composer write a Euphonium/Tenor Tuba part). However, Euphonium is always used in the concert band.
for some reason i play the same pitch as the horn and tuba does in 8th grade because some of the notes for me are too easy for me reach to and i want higher/lower notes with more challenging melodies from those instruments.
