Absolutely love the ruined world + under the ocean elements of this game. Please post as much of this as you want! For the two times at the top - I believe the first one might be how long you've played, but it could also be how long since you last slept. If you sleep and it resets to 0, there you go. You've probably already figured this out, but the big fish at 19:09 is the marlin whose skin you want to get (somehow) for the swim flippers. Can you chop and collect the tall seaweed or is it pure decoration? Usually games let you make food or rope out of it.
Let me start by saying that I haven't watched the video yet, but, whenever I'm thinking of buying a new game, I just head on over to this channel, and check out your playthroughs of it. Thank you for your great content!
Thanks Kage again. I bought this game immediately after a start to watch your gameplay about 3-4 min. And this is not a first time when I did the same things. Watch your vids, and buy the game .. Thanks to your work. I love your contents...
Hey Kage, remember you can put stuff on your tool belt and make room in your pack to pick up those last few dropped loots, especially under water so you don`t have to go back down, or go unload and come back:-)
A cool thing to do while playing is... Exercise !!! Strengthen your lungs and your breath by stop brething when you go under water and only breath again when the character gets back to the surface ;) bit by bit you will get better at it and you will feel the difference when you go to a pool. Fun little exercise and a health increase while you play
Loving the look of this survival game. Always on the lookout for good multi-playing survival game to share with the family. Love how informative you make these videos. Looking forward to see your season and progression.
Could be fun, would like to see a few more episodes to see where this game is going,it would be nice to have in-game goals,as always appreciate your hard work
I have Sunkenland and have played a bit. Here are some comments I'll make. First, things DO respawn and regrow. Patrol the island at least once per day to collect loose branches that will spawn. Trees will regrow, but they take time. They start small (and give less Wood) and grow over time. Strawberry plants take time to develop into harvestable Strawberries. Keep your eyes open for Mushrooms and Strawberries on the island. When you eat Strawberries, there's a chance to get Seeds. You cannot plant in the ground (at least early on), but you can build a Planter. Each Strawberry Seed planted in a Planter will return TWO Strawberries, so it's definitely a "farmable" product. You can also plant the Pinecones, which will grow a small tree to get Wood. Also watch for Crabs at the water's edge. Two stabs with the Spear will kill them. Second, edible items can be cooked. They give more health and stamina when cooked, so it's definitely worth while. Third, build Walls ASAP. Zombies can attack the island. They're difficult to see coming and they swarm you (not TOO many, but it's difficult to handle 4 Zombies when they attack at the same time. They don't seem to be able to operate doors, but they can climb rocks. Most of the other islands will attack YOU if you approach them, but the Motel is actually a Trader. She'll barter with you, and probably accept coins if you find them. Fourth, before building a Boat, build a Crossbow and Arrows. I believe they need to be researched at the Workbench. Therefore, build that, too. Fifth, there are two types of large sea life. Sharks will attack, but only if you are in their territory. Marlins (the big fish with the pointy nose) are passive (probably unless you attack THEM). I haven't encountered any other aggressive native life, but the people on Islands TEND to attack if you go near them. I think that's it for my starting suggestions. Death is not final, and you do NOT lose EQUIPPED Items (such as tools and weapons), but your backpack contents stay where you get killed. Sharks are dangerous in early game, but CAN be killed. I used a spear and dodging (ala Raft), but I think it's a little more difficult than Raft. You can also bleed in this game, so make sure you carry a Bandage with you.
So this looks really good, interested to see how the enemies look and act. The way everything looks is great, spooky seeing stuff underwater, is there a storyline or just 'woke up and was naked and alone' kinda thing? And I got 47 videos to watch, binge watch here I come!!
You can see an island in the near distance with a large sign over it. Build a paddle boat, it comes with a storage box and put your items with a value in it that you don't want - you can do trades with her for stuff, like pills that expand your lung capacity. You can loot all over her island and even trade some stuff back to her. Cool beans!
if you have space on your hotbed you can put the food or drink there to free up some space in your bag. You can make a boat or 2 so make one to put storage on and you won't have to keep going back to your base. there is also an aqualung icon on your character screen so you can make one of those too.
Tip: don’t skip the red algae. Collect it and make medicine. Bandages only stop bleeding, they don’t heal you. Sell trophies 🏆 to the trader for antibiotics, lung boosters and coin.
Good work kage love your Channel , as for the 2 times on top left i think the first is you time that counts your in game session every time you log in or the overall time you play this game, as for the second its the in game hours 24h count 😀
I think not having a tutorial is great. As so many games that don’t let you figure out things for yourself and hold your hand shows it is more made for children than older players.
I absolutely love survival games and this looks pretty good. Gotta give it to you bud, if it wasn’t for you i wouldn’t be playing half the games i am. Love your content and u make me piss myself laughing sometimes😂🤣😂. So thank you bro🙏🏽👍🏽🫡
I love ya Kage but not sure why so much love…seems like a pretty basic low budget general survival game. Hopefully I will change my mind a few episodes in.
Might have to give this a go. I've gotten several games I've seen you play. This looks like it might be worth it. Be nice if it has 7 Days staying power.
Yessir! Been playing for a week! This is the best survival game I've ever found. [Subnautica was good. Had a more scifi feel Too many boss/death mobs.] But this is awesome. They've done so many things right. Mob raids become a repetitive pain so I turned them off.
Just starting to watch the video. The initial screen made me think it was a third person view, but the in game proved to be first person, so I already like it already. Kevin Costner would approve this game, 😁. As a Subnautica lover, I expect a great experience with this game.
I was wondering if you know GameEdge because the two of you cover the same games at the same time. I love both of you guys streams because you guys play in different ways even if you play the same games. Due to the two of you I have downloaded this game and will give it a go. Great stream.
New subscriber here. I'm guessing the timer top left is how long you've been alive and the other is current time? Sorry if you said this already im currently watching the video all the way through 😆
Can definitely see the comparisons to Raft that will come once this game is released but it seems much more engaging than Raft which is a huge plus. Whereas Raft focused more on traversal gameplay in a fairly uniform setting, this one focuses more on explorative gameplay in a dynamic setting which is my type of game.
Jesus man this is what you do for a living. Look at your inventory. You picked up a torch underwater. You opened your inv about 10 times but never saw the torch with the big green durability bar.
middle time = total lapsed time in game or "total time survived" This isn't Raft, this is inspired by Havendock without the constant supply of floating materials and without the cartoon vibe.
looks good.... but would like a little more realism. I mean it seems off that you just hold a button to scavenge big chunks of concrete/metal/cars, but for old wooden cabinet you have to have stone axe to chop it. Just my initial thought after 3 minutes into the watch
This looks like an upgraded stranded deep and I’m loving it already, great choice Kage. Love your content so keep up the good work

Lol classic Kage

Found this game a few days ago and it’s so addicting. Me and my wife love it. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for it. A++

Hey Kage. Love your channel. The fish by the apartments with the sword on it's face was the marlin you need to make the fins.
10:45 kage forgets how to speak words 😂😂

I hear they're working on the story to make sense of this, but its super fun without it.
My how you've grown since the early days, it's nice to see.

Well, I put all the tools and bucket on the hotbar. I used to put canned food and drink on hot bar, until I misclicked and wasted my canned food😅...

Sell trophies 🏆 to the trader for antibiotics, lung boosters and coin.
Looks great got waterworld meets stranded deep vibes from this game love this 👍👍

hyped about the future of this game, thank you for the vid
i cant wait to see Cage play Kenshi. i know its oldie but imo it is still easily top 2 or 3 game ever made.
Been waiting for this hame for ages, looking forward to jamming with my buddies.
It is awesome to see you so hyped. I really hope this one does well so you can have hours upon hours of fun with it.
Maybe it’s time in the game?
DangNabit You got me now. I have to see where this goes now. SUBSCRIBED !!!!!
Looks fun! Keep up the great work Kage.
Catching up with the videos. When did your vids garnish 5000 Likes :) bloody unreal Kage. Keep this series going, does look good.

Am I the only one who finds themselves actually holding my breath while the character is under water?
You are NOT the only one... 😂
I do it too. Always have when watching games like this😂😂
Haha yes I did that in Subnautica also
Yep, started playing today and noticed I was holding my breath. Except for the time I started wondering why everything was suddenly getting so dark...
@@KorathalJones 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Caught this right before bed and had just been looking at the game. Looking forward to playing along with you.
I love ya Kage but not sure why so much love…seems like a pretty basic low budget general survival game. Hopefully I will change my mind a few episodes in.
Hopefully you keep playing this one, Poor Eden island lol
Thank you for sharing. Another game to add to my inventory lol
4.40am here in the UK
it's like a waterworld mod for rust. pretty cool, but does it really offer anything new? i'm anxious to see what the end game content looks like.
Stuff in your hot keys respawn with you when you die. And your hot keys hold your stuff as well
Been waiting for this game, looks awesome . Can't wait to see more, I'll be buying this game 👍
Might have to give this a go. I've gotten several games I've seen you play. This looks like it might be worth it. Be nice if it has 7 Days staying power.
Loving this so far!

Marlin are large fish with pointy noses like a swordfish. that large creature in the apartments is likely a marlin.
So far I like what I see from this game. Definitely have to pick this up on Steam. Love your videos on this game and 7 days to die.
The vibes are 🌟immaculate🌟
The world looks gorgeous
Super pumped about this game. I bought it and can’t wait to play!
All i can think of is Raft + Stranded Deep....and i love it!!! On my queue!!!
Kind'a reminds me of Subnautica. With the water weeds and all, but no fish. 👌🍻
I can't stop hearing wooder. Lololol :D

Very good first impression - I might actually buy this one.
I can't wait for another 2 weeks so I can buy this and play!! 😁
Looks right up my alley
New subscriber here. I'm guessing the timer top left is how long you've been alive and the other is current time? Sorry if you said this already im currently watching the video all the way through 😆
I'm just catching up on your series, so you may already know this, but the 1st time is the time on the server the second is the in-game time
Early game feels so much more like Stranded Deep to me than The Raft. Probably the visuals, but it's making me nostalgic.
when looting in contaners leave 1 item in chest or it will disappear
Can definitely see the comparisons to Raft that will come once this game is released but it seems much more engaging than Raft which is a huge plus. Whereas Raft focused more on traversal gameplay in a fairly uniform setting, this one focuses more on explorative gameplay in a dynamic setting which is my type of game.
Feels like stranded deep, just bigger or "more"
Thanks for the video!
Looks like it could be a VERY fun game, but obviously it needs a bit of work. I'll probably give it a shot eventually.
This is early access? It looks so good! The water looks better than most AAA games from big studios.
Yeah, that water asset they bought from an asset store?
Stop lying to yourself dude, lol.
@@spkz0rthat only means a lot of big studios produce worse water than widely available assets. 😁
@@mortisCZ Exactly
This looks amazing game please a full gameplay Kage
I thought that this was Raft for a second and got so excited lol.
After watching the video I gotta say, this looks like a dope game!
It definitely looks awesome
yo this game looks sick!!
Looks like the "1st time" is current play time/length and the "2nd time" is the in-game time like you thought.
Jesus man this is what you do for a living. Look at your inventory. You picked up a torch underwater. You opened your inv about 10 times but never saw the torch with the big green durability bar.
Looks like Rust with much better underwater vision and scavenging. I dig it!
At what point does this look like rust??
@@Sandemik the hatchet is almost identical in design to a basic Rust hatchet and just the overall first person aspect. It's all very reminiscent.
@@Sandemikbuilding, raiding other bases, gunfights, seems a lot like it.
@@agamer4891 that's the basis of any survival game though.
not every survival game tbh@@Sandemik
I see this game I immediately reminisce Kevin Costner, movie flick Waterworld!!
The marlins are passive and easely killed with a spear (specially the crap iron spear you can researchat the research table)
Whatever the left side clock is, it is running faster which is weird no matter what it is timing.
Good start
the first time is probabley the length you have been alive. the second one is the time of the day.
I know its only coop for the moment but it will be great if we can have more players on servers and pvp, like rust for exemple
Bought this to play with my gf having fun with it we like the survival games like this pretty soild so far
great content, keep it up.
Just bought this game. It is awesome!!!!
You had an option at world creation to select a random starting location.
This looks great! looking forward to more gameplay
middle time = total lapsed time in game or "total time survived"
This isn't Raft, this is inspired by Havendock without the constant supply of floating materials and without the cartoon vibe.
12:44 Maybe the first one is the time you have been playing. Have you been playing for about 14 mins till this point?
Bought this as it launched. Not bad, currently cheapest on Green Man Gaming in UK, bout £10
This game definitely has my attention.
Dang it Kage, now I need to play this,…
😂😂
all the back and forth for air reminds me of subnautica....specially early game...
Looks dope, love to see more
I've been looking at this game, curious how it is. Will return for part 2
First number is time in game. The second is time of day in game. Also destroy just drops it on ground
7 Days to Die used to have sped up nighttime back in the day. 😸
You can build a base by the trader, on the roof, but it seems you can't sleep there, it says enemies is near by.
You should build your starter base with metal because there is an over abundance of that resource
Also the game sometimes will place your foundations in different direction and some times it does not allow you to turn it
Yep gonna start that tomorrow.. lol Thx man
It might be a swordfish which is very delicious but expensive.
i like you i think you are an entertaining person
Water world the movie as a game.
Yes! More!
