@@125conman I feel like they are being more smart about it this time around though, like combining abilities/functions etc. And not always just flat out removing them, as well as when they remove some stuff they usually at the same time improve/add more fun abilities/flavour in other parts of the tree. WoD felt more like a straight downgrade in how fun the gameplay was after the "pruning".
@@125conman Their approach is really different now, they are baking some ability effects into other abilities instead of just deleting deep freeze for no reason.
Unholy and Elemental feel really insane. Though for Ele, I think what people are misunderstanding here is that our 2 and 4 set bonus is making things interact strangely. We also have had our stat weights rebalanced, so Mastery is more valuable rather than Haste which is what it was before (for Elemental), we've also just received a rebalance to how our powerful our initial spells are vs how strong the duplications from our mastery is. So it feels really bad to get hit by a hard casted Lava Burst with the Volcanic Surge pvp talent. Just give it time and when the new content hits in August, we'll start to feel weaker again as our stats diminish. Don't sweat it folks. Just wait.
Ven I know you liked Surv in the past and I was hoping you could make a vid regarding it too. It's a lot different, doing mostly magic damage in fire now, so can probably handle plate users a bit better than before. It does get a 13 second cd kick now in muzzle, down from 15secs. It also got its mastery effect changed, and it is insane (whatever percent mastery you amass, it is then doubled, then if youre within 25yards of your pet, that doubled percent is then increased by another 100% increase on top of that) Seems to be enough that one of my survs is holding 60-80k dps higher with 32% mastery (dual silk linings + missive crafted pvp gear focusing haste mastery, just 3 armor pieces) than my surv with only haste/vers conq focused gear with one silk and primary stat increase cc boots. Now haste has been the main secondary stat for surv for the better part of what 4 years now? This new mastery seems to be strong strong is its crushing what haste is suppose to enable in the surv kit through mongoose stacks and bomb cd reduction, and these were both full conq toons otherwise with the surv with no mastery unable to beat the dual silk lining mastery stack surv, haste difference was 42% and 48%. and it wasn't even close. It has left me lost on what to build now, around 42% haste, and 35% mastery plus, is probably the best from my testing, I need to try with more mastery to see if it keeps increasing. People are sleeping on this mastery change I think.

Glad mw got a little boost, ww feels like a good place too. Is there a better way to gear up than painfully grinding bgs for honor gear then starting arena with 515s and getting dumpstered til you earn enough conquest to gear up? Am I missing anything in the pvp gearing catchup?
Is there something wrong with WW on Pre-patch? Feels like you do 0 Damage into high armor classes. I know it's prepatch and stuff is wierd. but just wondering
The monk's problem is damage and mana. As long as caster monk is the only healer that doesn't deal relevant damage, it won't be a good healer. Unfortunately, currently all healers do a lot of damage. Only the caster monk does not.
they should nerf all the healer damage. an rdruid doing 6M damage by spamming wrath is extremely stupid. and as a DPS, playing the entire game near death because my healer is trying to outdamage is really lame.

Mostly because it's a choice node with ring of peace which is very good while song of chi ji requires a slight cast time , moves slowly, instantly breaks on damage and shares DR with other disorient effects

Not much changing to gameplay from what i saw in the video. Stay on base avoid CC pray into a statue your team doesnt die. Hit a couple heal multipliers and hope to land a CC here and there. Castweaver still remains the least satisfying healer, and I was a castweaver main at one point. Now Im a dedicated Fist/Disc...actually get to mix it up with your squad.
on the other hand the ww monk has become really bad since the pre patch... i caress the guys with my spells. why did they kill such a beautiful class :(
That lobby at the end is the perfect example why i quit healing in ss this ssn.... ven goes positive 4:2 against a worse monk player, gets minus mmr and no cr while the losing monk gains cr and mmr :D such a joke system. After hitting 2,23k and losing mmr and cr like this, I was like: nah bro, search some other dummy healers...
@WruGapps exactly what I always said in my streams, but ppl shitted on me for that... they're like nah its too complex, bla bla bla, you know? It really isn't. The easiest standard addons are even able to track all of that, and a multi-billion dollar company is not able to implement it? :D Like bro, come on... The system is over a decade old now, and it needs real rework ASAP, or veterans will just leave, and new ppl will not even participate in it. Don't let the pvp ship sink like that.

Mastery now triggers overload at 30% effectiveness, before it was 80% without talents. It's basically garbage now imo

That port to ally ability is going to make hot swapping in 2s with a melee while playing as Fistweaver pretty slick
i think the port is cool bc not only does it work well with TWD, windwalkers can use it against hunters to eat the traps for their healer.
