Definitely will! I will be using the better nail forms in my next video, I’m a little unsure if that will be the good nail form video. I may do a separate video more in depth!
It’s honestly all dependent on the person! Some people work better with paper forms over dual forms. And the other way around also. Personally I feel comfortable using either. They both have their downsides, you just have to try it out and see what’s best for you! I typically prefer just to do polygel over tips, but When it comes to paper forms vs. dual forms I definitely prefer paper nail forms! In my opinion dual forms don’t fit my nails properly & aren’t as customizable as paper forms. But I typically use them over paper forms because the ones I have are terrible since they don’t stick 😂
@@Katemarienailz my one hand I used paper forms from dipalicious and her builder gel and after a couple fingers it was smooth sailing. But now I did my daughter's nails with all dual forms and it was so difficult. And than when I seen your vid I was like yes it can be done lol
If you keep your brush wet enough, you shouldn't have any problems, I am sure you will get there it took me all of 2 years to learn, and now I am a pro at it..... LOL
As a nail tech I have a question? Why did you build the nail back-to-front instead of front-to-back? Wouldn't it be easier to build the nail starting from the front- to- back so you wouldn't have to worry about how thick it was starting from the back, the tip seems to be much thinner than it is in the back and your apex doesn't seem to be strong enough to protect the nail from breaking. Just asking why you did that?
I was jusssttt learning how to do my own nails, and if I’m not mistaken this was only like my 1st or 2nd time doing polygel. So my techniques back then were definitely not correct 😂
@KC Nails, okay I was just wondering I didn't know either when I first started, like all DIY techs we all have some similar issues when we first start. I watched a ton of videos before I decided to start doing my nails in 2020 when covid took over and closed the nail salons I knew I had to start doing my nails at home, if i ever wanted long nails again. I think it took a bit of six months to watch the videos to make sure I didn't make a mistake but in all honesty, some of the nails were thicker than others and I had to learn how to keep them thinner without them breaking. So I get it, the first time around is always the hardest, but they say the more you fail the closer you are to succeeding. 😉🙂
Omg tysm for telling us how to do it. I’m getting to polygel stuff tomorrow

Super
I'd it easier to work with the polygel with the paper forms? I used the dual forms and it was a nightmare. But I'm not ready to give up!!
