    Unfortunately, 99.99 percent of bad faith lawyers tell you they will fight for you. What they really mean is that they will take as many cases as possible and just try to settle them all because they get 40% and don't care that much about making you whole. If you act like you won't settle for anything less than being made whole and you will push it to litigation, they will drop you as a client because they don't want to take the 18 month risk of losing in court and wasting their time. So, they tell you how aggressive they are how they will fight for you but they really mean they will do very little work, pass your file to a new attorney, and then get 40% of whatever you get so they know they get paid no matter what. If the insurance company invokes appraisal, their hands are tied and they can't really do much for you but they will still take thier 40% out of your settlement and you will be upside down on fixing your house by 40% because they can't get attorney fees in appraisal.

    February of last year I fell on a platform when I contacted the insurance to put in a claim for my medical and injury they paid for the medical told me to get evaluation for my physical therapy, and they will cut me a check, and I will still be able to continue my pursue of my lost wages once I submit my evaluation see the adjuster completely changed her mind and tried to force me to accept a lower amount which is only leave me with $2000. In my pocket I refused, and I counter with an amount that I believe that would take care of me because of the injury , the adjuster wrote me a very derogative letter and told me either accept what they give me or she will withdraw. I just learned about bad faith today I have all the evidence that the company and the insurance knew h the cleaning crew wound doing a good job. I also have the staff on record informing me about the ongoing issue

    My compaby claum3d i denied collison and comprehensive which i did not i had a loan on the car 100s of people have claimed the same signing up for coverage and then co saying ypu never signed up even coming ip with altered documents ....

    So. My case is def intended bad faith but it's not about paying out. Welp. They didn't do that either but they never had an insurance adjuster actually deem total loss on vehicle. In turn then...get this. Intentionally 6 months later sent dmv an " insurance monitoring " prolific on me in general stating I lapsed insurance. On a car 6 months prior to....that they KNEW was a total loss. So. Here we are a year later. I knew nothing of the such. A stack of tickets on my shoulders pending and I cannot get a license tags nor insurance of any such bc of this. Because of the agency and what they have low key done Intentionally. I literally have the proof that states it was them that sent the information to the dmv. So. Now living in a rural setting. We don't have public transportation. Taxis/ ride share/ uber....whatever. I have to fork over 50 extra bucks everytime I desperately need to seek a ride to/from the grocery store. I have a public schooled child w/ a life threatening allergy in which I NEED to be on stand by for....I cannot. How embarrassing is this. It is totally. Oh and I'm not " poor enough " to receive any kind of advice or help with such situation

    While traveling in my RV I was in an accident on February 9th 2023
    I have had FULL TIME RV INSURANCE with Progressive and reported the accident.
    The adjuster was sent out two weeks later after filing the claim to assess damages which were written incorrectly and not thoroughly conducted.
    2 weeks later after I was told my policy was under investigation for misrepresentation
    My agent from Progressive would not give me any other information. I attempted numerous times to get a hold of my insurance agents supervisor, but never received a response back. I received a letter stating my policy has been terminated due to my not owning an additional vehicle other than my RV.
    They say I signed documents that stated this, but I opened the policy up by the phone NEVER SIGNING ANYTHING
    They refuse to give me copies of what was so called "signed"
    I had a previous RV insured with progressive for three years...aren't they aware after five months or three years that I don't own an additional vehicle? This is completely unfair and I am having a really DIFFICULT TIME finding legal help. ANY RESOURCES ARE SUPER APPRECIATED!!!
    UNABLE TO DRIVE I AM STRANDED AND NEED ASSISTANCE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THANK YOU

      I’m just navigating a situation close to yours. Call progressive. Get a certified copy of your policy. Ask them for the phone number to someone in their resolution department. Have everything documented. File a detailed complaint online with your states insurance commission. Read the statutes of ur state laws regarding insurance claims. Identify the bylaws u assert they have not followed. Don’t threaten ur hiring an attorney or going to sue them. Yelling and name calling will not help. Say things like “we have a contract. Can u help me understand why ur denying my claim? I feel as though ur company is acting in bad faith and heres why. Record any conversations.
      Seek more advice . I don’t know what I’m doing but this is how I’m proceeding. Keep this in mind. Most insurance companies and businesses in general have developed the policy of frustrating customers. Long times on hold, disconnects, handing off from one rep to another, asking for ridiculous things from you. Majority of people give up. My claim has been denied twice. I have full collision/comprehensive . Claim was 90 days ago

      Sorry to read about this as I’m yet another Progressive , full coverage, a deer hit me Nov 2023 , open claim towed to my house . Sat until Dec , the repair quote was approved based on pictures via their application. No leaking of fluids , it’s a 2020 Audi q5. Repair company I chose dealer due to part availability. Repair department “ ordered parts and towed once they received the parts. Cosmetic , front , headlights … etc. I sadly didn’t have rental coverage so I owned that … but progressive was crickets , well first rep who approved repairs not totaling it , she quit , I kept telling my family give them time to repair… I did call to see about a date guessing as I have no transportation and the 1k deductible so I could have it done. After second call with repair shop , heard progressive had been not able to inspect and “ it’s on their board to get to it “ well second conversation with new rep , it wasn’t a priority but assured me it’s not progressive… well I called demanding an update … progressive lost a field rep in that area so I got the call from someone who was thrilled to let me know my car is been totaled out … and mins later how soon can you come get your personal belongings and tag , it’s getting towed to “ third party company “ to inspect and generate value of the car…. It’s now may 4 and I received a certified letter from progressive that I have 6 days to settle , regardless as I was being harrassed by the rep , he called 6-8 times and text … I’m needing you to go and sign with witness …my mom was in medical surgeries , she is on policy , he called her and she is elderly and has no idea regarding this tactics , I am in Georgia and I will reach out to your office
