In his first appearances Mahone was this arrogant, brilliant and devoted Special Agent, who was the first one to intellectually challenge Scofield, later on he became a less cool but more relatable character with more depth. Despite having some dark moments, he was my favorite character since his first appearance.
totally agree, i admired scofield SO MUCH, but when mahone came in Season 2, i liked Mahone way more than micheal espicially cause micheal acts where not about "the end justifies the means" philosofy that he came with in season 1.

Barrett Harger He has the acting chops but not the appearance. Totally different body type and facial features. This guy would make a perfect Riddler though.

The character I hate the most is Lincoln, he is so violent, insulting, agressive. When Mahone asked him to put the picture of his son in the plastic pouch to protect it, Lincoln insulted him, I am shocked, Lincoln has no heart. He could say "no", he doesn't need to insult, and he has a son, he should understand Mahone, but he is still selfish, he thinks only of himself, of his son, of Veronica it means of him him him people. Even when Michael felt bad for T-Bag being outside and told him that he made so much effort to make him leaving the dead chair at Fox River, Lincoln told him, answered him, that Michael must have let him in for death. I hate Lincoln, this character is disgusting. The character I hate the most is Lincoln because he is bad person, violent, no heart, then it's Michael because he is too cold like a robot. I don't like the two brothers.

He was a brilliantly smart character in season 2. He intellectually challenged Michael. And then in season 4, they just never showed this part of him. Yes his storyline and development was good and touchy but they could've used his intelligence more instead of throwing him to the side and making him just follow orders when he's perfectly capable (sometimes even more than michael) of coming up with plans himself. He should've been the leader of the group along with Michael. After all, Alex is just as smart as Michael.
If it wasn't for Mahone, they would have never have found Scylla. He came up with the umbrella idea to get the final card of Scylla. He also found out many other things but I don't know what they are. I remember Michael thanking him for bringing up an idea that was a solution.
I agree with you. Alex's sharp mind should have also been showcased in Season 4 with him leading the group while searching for his son's killer and getting his revenge; I would have also liked to see him show his fighting skills a bit more.

He has this soft side as well, willing to do anything to protect his family. William Fichtner's performance is just phenomenal, so fking attractive. Love him in other movies too.

He was not a snitch in season 2 and I wanted to see more of him. Impressive how a young guy can travel the country with little money and he was just 18 in the show. He had nothing evil in him. Franklin was a total ego and douch m. wish he took suicade and Tweener lived
