I appreciate the silly bits close to the end... It was for those precious memories of just mundane idiocy and living that made it all worth it, it was those moments which had value, not the end result, not anything else. It is what Armin desires to protect and what so many ignore like Eren, it is also what, in the end, allowed Eren to let his dream die. He was a slave to his own desires, one of which was total freedom and the aniquilation of humanity, but in the end he gave it all up for those he grew to love, for them to live their lives with no regrets and for humans to be given another chance by the hand of who in the yes of Eren was the best person he ever met.
just keep getting reminded of how amazing this show really was.
