- Trying to do some missions to get enough money to go mine uranium. Argh this is turned into one of those long fetch quests.
Some things happened, some bad things happened, so I ended up in the SS BubbleGum again. But I did manage to rescue the original red LAV that was floating out by the powerplant.
I have a discord server set up now. Its fairly quiet but if you need help with something its a good place to contact me. / discord
Check out my builds on the Steam workshop: steamcommunity...
I've actually made an actual decent tank steering controller. It can even spin on the spot if wanted. It needs a clutch and reverse gearbox per side and all links up to one engine.
That's how most peoples tank steering works. The issue tends to be changing directions. Often there is more power delivered to one side over the other.
The systems I've used will all stall the engines when turning one direction and then give twice as much power when turning the other way.
Converting to electric motors has been the solution I've found since there is no throttle to accept higher than 1 or less than -1
Mine doesn't do that. It's fully equal right or left.@@terr-rawr-saur
Id be interested to try it out.
Tip: when looking for stuff to delete, paint blocks/indicators are hugely expensive :)
The rotating winch point on bubblegum is a great idea I may have to borrow that
It was supposed to be used for lifting shark cages onto the deck. But it works well for towing so win-win :)
Call ur new vehicle the carrier kitten just an idea
Haha. ok. :D
They fixed the seats in in 1.10.4. I'm not sure if it's "Fix - #22792 Reworked raycast interactions to fix several issues with rays from recent character network physics changes" or "Fix - Seats applying an offset to character position when testing for drowning", So I think they did mention it but it's not very clear
will you be releasing the littlest train soon or does it need to wait for the new TCP?
We have to wait for TCP to be released first. :/ Sorry. When TCP is released though ill have a small collection of locos and wagons that will all be available asap.
@@terr-rawr-saur I thought that'd be the case. I'm looking forward to it! I might try some TCP myself, I'm new to train stuff though. Any idea when this might be, roughly?
@@rocket_goose I don't think there is any kind of schedule yet. Its still going through a lot of testing with more testers sharing their work between each other so that would suggest its getting closer.
I'm going to be building/converting some trains for TCP so the general spec of how things need to placed will be shown a fair bit.
And its pretty easy to hook it all up after your trains are built.
can you really make water jets an enclosed system? basically water jets inside it's own water tank? that would still give thrust?
It could have changed but im pretty sure you can. A while ago I was trying to make flying boats based of Turbo Sharks designs and his has fluid jets inside the hull of the ship.
maybe the reason you didn't take damage might have been because you kept landing on angled surfaces but idk
Like riding a ramp down?
@@terr-rawr-saur yeah kinda, in quite a few games slopes can break your fall, it's a bit silly
You sould build a snail plz
That sounds real funny. I think you've sold me on this idea.
