Thanks so much for this, it just wasn't going in with my maths teacher today and my functional maths skills level 2 retake is tomorrow 😬 this has clicked!!
A little late but it's because, When the word And comes so, P(A And B), you multiply so P(A) × P(B) When the word Or comes, you add so switch × with addition sign

Thanks,now I get it
3:12 why only these two circles? why did you choose the other two instead?
Because that is not what the question asked mate
@@ruth_ava lol
cuz its asking about the red counters not blue (3 years late u probs dont give a shi)
Thx alot for this vid
Thank u sir Pugh
Thanks
on question 1 why did you add up 30/90 and 16/90 and not 20/90 and 24/90??
That’s all the question asked for
Because part B only asks for the probability of one counter of each colour taken not the same colour.
why did you add 1/12 but it asks for one match can you please explain thank you
Because matha
Because there were two different probabilities for winning and losing so you add both different probabilities to get you the answer
1/4 x 1/3 = 1/12 and that was a lose or win so that’s how he had to add 1/12 to 6/12
