      @Greg Pop-a-Bich Yah, because Lebron represents MOST of today's type of NBA star players who thinks they are entitled over something they haven't earned yet in the professional league. MJ said that too.

      Probably that was the biggest difference MJ and LeBroomed had, MJ as competitive as he is , was still coachable and a good student of the game. Mj went through great and established coaches who saw and pointed out his flaws.

      Didn't realize we hung banners for conference banners. Come find me if he wins a ring without Lebron, Wade, and Bosh. Frankly since people like bringing up lebron's final record (4-6) vs Jordans 6-0 it sounds like fans think it's worse to lose in the finals instead of not making it all.

    Heat Developmental System:
    Duncan Robinson 5 seasons
    Gabe Vincent 4 seasons
    Max Strus 3 seasons
    Caleb Martin 2 seasons
    Haywood Highsmith 1.5 seasons
    Nikola Jovic 1 season rookie (be on the look out)
    Jamal Cain 1 season rookie (be on the look out)
    Spo & coaches get so much credit, but they only pick players who they know will fit Heat Culture and the long term plan so also huge credit to the players as well!

      Spo get too much? Man hasnt won a coach of the year award and hasnt beent talked about as much as doc rivers. Spo brought the heat w/o the big3 consistently to the playoffs. There's a reason why he hasnt been fired this long. Give him his flowers. He's totally not overrated.

      @adjuru6585 ปีที่แล้ว

      They get the maximum out of their players in most cases. The funny things is when they trade players or (have) to let them walk in FA.
      Dragic, Crowder, PJ Tucker or even Derrick Jones Jr. all left and got nowhere close to the impact they had on the Heat.
      Thats why they almost never lose in a trade. This organization makes such few mistakes... it's incredible.
      The only recent mistakes are some contracts as Robinson, partly Lowry and further back Dion Waiters and James Johnson

    • @adjuru6585
      @adjuru6585 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Greg Pop-a-Bich Lowry's deal is alright. He's been really important as a leader off the bench.
      But Robinson... This dude was basically out of the rotation during the regular season. Can't be paying him 5/90 M$. He's been playing well in the playoffs but he only played bc Herro and Oladipo went down in the first place.
      Regardless of how the Finals go, I really hope they try to move him in the offseason.
      They need some flexibility... They won't be able to hold Vincent and Strus after this, so you need to replace two starters. I don't think Robinson will be the answer

    • @pbanaszek
      @pbanaszek ปีที่แล้ว

      @@adjuru6585 I think Robinson got so much, also because he could have some sort of appreciation of hard work that he did previous years and helped this team go to the finals in 2020. Something like Heat did with Haslem. In his first 3 years he was earning shitty money. I like this guy but I also wouldn't give him such amount of money, 70 mil would be acceptable instead of 90. I'm glad he come back, with a little bit better defense (got some steals and block on Jalen!) and some new plays, that are confusing opponents.

    • @munistyle
      @munistyle ปีที่แล้ว

      In European football a crucial aspect of building great teams is developing homegrown talent through academy programs. I think this is something that is kind of lost or not realized nearly as much in the nba, but the Heat clearly have demonstrated how important it can be. I believe that its one of the reasons why the Heat have been so successful, because they have been able to develop players within a system over multiple years and instill the culture in them. Other teams need to start following suit.

    yo this was a great finals match up. the celtics right now aren't destined to win nba finals, but they have matched up against all the greats during their peaks (e.g. Lebron) or great teams on redemption runs (e.g. Warriors 2022). they faced up KD and Irving's Nets; Milwaukee's big3; so i see nothing but success of a team that can even match up with the Heat and to come back from 0-3 to 3-3. JBrown had 8 turnovers, that seemed like self sabotage, so aside from that explanation i think this team should run it back.
    the heat are about lowry, who is championship caliber, UD, who is about veteran presence in the lockeroom, and, butler, who is like overly misunderstood stuperstar who could've taken minnesota or the bulls or the sixers to a Finals match up but had to endure so many years of organizational setbacks and meeting players who don't ball. he saved a lot of superstars from teaming up with the wrong teams lol. and bam does bam stuff, nobody needs to talk about him cos he don't care anyway.
    it's great to have a rivalry, however short lived it will be. go celtics 2024!
    (the media will spin it as like, the heat won because they played for each other, while the celtics lost because they played for the championship, but for those of us who have been around the block, we understand the narratives, we get the lesson, thanks a bunch NBA).

      I’m glad I’m not the only who thinks they should just keep ‘em both because they’re always playing deep into the playoffs. It’s never easy to win. Brown and Tatum has shown consistent success throughout their pairing albeit never resulting into a championship. I’m sure they’re hungry and will be close to this position again. As for the Heat, they are an incredibly coached team that shows major discipline and toughness. The finals should definitely be a treat

    Spoelstra is a very good, smart and decisive coach. He demands only the best from his players and holds his players accountable. In contrast, the Celtics are a bunch of spoiled prima donnas and getting treated like babies, that's why they're soft and always have a meltdown as they can't handle the pressure. The Heat played like real men, mature adults, confident and assertive while the Celtics played like a bunch of crybabies, panicking scared little girls. That proves the Heat is a well run professional organization. You'll never respect a franchise like the Celtics, it deserves to be ridiculed for life.

    Boston could have beat the Heat easily had they applied full-court pressure. The Heat doesn't have great ball handlers. Look at the very end of the game they used their bench to do it, but it was too late! The Heat deserved to win because they hide this weakness and showed a strong sense of urgency and togetherness.

    • @Itachi-xi9sl
