Impressive! You've condensed a wealth of valuable insights into a single video. When it comes to taming the uncertainty of selecting the right tech stack, we've got a handy strategy. Connecting with a seasoned software development vendor can be a game-changer. You see, cutting-edge technologies like AI are absolutely worth embracing. By harnessing them, you can swiftly capture the attention of investors and gain a competitive edge in your field.

“…and marketed them [product] through social media…” I like what you did there ;)
Edit: if that was at all a subtle self promotion, it’s genuine and masterful. You didn’t even mention your product in ‘grow your audience’ section.

The key here is to spend most your time in finding a problem the market truely wants. Spend most your time on product discovery. Come up with ways to work with your target audience so you can hear their pains and jobs to be done. Create a prototype using Figma and get feedback then build the mvp if your market truly wants it. The biggest mistake i made is trying to come up with a solution to quickly and trying to sell something the market wants. Books to read Testing Business Ideas, Influence, Value proposition canvas.

I think I’d be more interested to learn why and how you started your company. Who did you hire? How did you find them? How did you interview? How did you validate your idea? I assume this video or components of other videos answer these questions.

Hi Simon, I recently joined your very informative channel. Some constructive criticism (maybe you already made the necessary adjustments?): This video topic is interesting, but the background music, and any music or noise in the background, is an unpleasant experience and distracting, since I listen at an accelerated speed of sometimes 2x, and I appreciate that you don't always have that in your (later?) videos. -- I only want to hear your voice, otherwise, I might skip and look for similar content elsewhere. I see you made this video a year ago, and you might have had similar comments before and decided against the use of backtracks now? I hope so.
Are other subscribers having a similar experience with the annoying background sound?
Keep going, it is a joy to hear your information.👍

Hi Simon, what a great video. thanks.
I got couple of questions to ask if you dont mind.
Is it critical to decide the best tech stack from day 1, or it ok to create the MVP and then finalize that?
What is the best approach to find early users (seed users)? other than social media plz.

I am in the industry for 11 years now. India.
A big chunk of it associated with numerous startups. In India, the story with startups is rather grim. Very pathetic.
I would advise any investor, especially foreign investors to do a zillion times crosscheck and scenario verification before investing even a dime. Sorry if that hurts some feelings.
Mostly shams. Scandalous to say the least.

One question that always had in my mid is that do I have to name my company exactly as my product? Let me break it down. Say I have an idea and I created an app for it. and I called V-App. Then do I have to register my startup V-App? Typically company names/app/domain they all the same but what if I had another idea which I want to develop? Do I create another company for that? Sorry if this wasn't so relevant to the subject but I'd appreciate a ton if you share your point of view. 🙏
