So the ad-libs went all the way back to victory era, wow. I thought it was some Bad Era thing but I amazing he grew to be better at it and the Bad Yokohama's was great 👍
Old schoolers like myself would recognise the "I think I wanna rock" sequence from the Jacksons Live album where it follows on from the I'll Be There breakdown. The second clip (from their 1980/81 Triumph tour) is the closest to what's on the record
This is so organic, and so much like Mike. He always said that dancing comes from nature, and is so pure and instinctive. It literally comes from the heartbeat and rhythm of life. I can see that in the way that he intros this song. Just him and his tapping foot.
@@Longlostpuss if you go and watch right now and compare to the rest in this video you’ll instantly notice that the sound and visual quality is better. Also i feel like michael and the drummer are more on beat when he is doing his heel tapping. Then the transition with the dance move during the drum solo intro was the best one. Overall this one is much better than all the ones in this video imo.
@@lilbape1733 I dont agree with that, I personally think that Yokohama is the best, as he actually hits the high note after singing "Rock!" Wembley he just doesn't do it as well
yes.. its so sad :( Even if he was struggling with hoarse voice later in his career (due to oversinging on BAD Tour) I wish he would have kept it more organic and slower paced live sung songs.
@Yanell yelling yea it’s cool to do the same dance moves for every show for the entire tour. That’s expected but come on 20 years later and every video same dance moves?! SMH 🤦🏽
@@Opbabyyx people give Mike too much credit for his dancing. He does the same sh t over and over and over again. Chris Brown is a great dancer and out performs Michael Jackson
@@DreiSkins101 quite true, I think Chris brown does his own take aswell, just that Michael jackson could’ve at least come with different choreographies each concert
I think it’s safe to say Michael wants to rock.

What are you all talking about? The first clip was from the 1979, "Destiny Tour", dur.

Lord I miss the magic of MJ
Thank you John JR Robinson for the drum fill...LEGENDARY
As a drummer, this and the billie jean intro are two of the most iconic drum moments in music!
Guys, I know this sounds crazy, but I think he wants to rock.
Hmmmmmm I’m not so sure about that one.
2:43 love how they incorporate the keys and stuff
That one’s my favorite🙃

I love this era with Michael
this is Michael's best era. I love too👍❤️

Still can't believe life in his body is extinct.
lmao we dont know if he truly died the day they claimed he did
That is the most unnecessarily extended way to simply say "I can't believe he's dead."😂

Why do you say that? It's pretty much the same routine all the way through the clips 🤷🏽♂

Hi MJ RCOK With YOU Girl Micheal JACKSON
History tour Hawaii? Where’s that one
❤❤👑
0:00 Good idea.
wembley was the best one the bad era in general fr
Is the rehearsal all we have from the 90’s?
Yes he never performed Rock With You on the Dangerous Tour. He did in the History tour but without this intro.
So bad he didnt sing it during the dangerous tour and with playback during the history tour :/
I mean he sung it during the dangerous tour rehearsal if that’s count’s
@@THEMIGHTYPANTHERS97 it don't :/
In HIStory tour had laryngitis
He had more songs to promote
There is no 1979 or 1981 only 1984 and up
My mistake the video started off at 84
It started in 1981
I was gonna say that the 1992 one must be from the rehearsal. He didn't sing that on the Dangerous Tour

@shaunwilliams3387 You're saying as if it's a cakewalk. How about u dance and sing at the same, that too when you're ill?
I prefer the ones up to 84 when he was BLACK, I tolerate the bad era cause at least he SOUNDED Black
He is black?
His race didnt change his skin color did.
So there is no when he “was” black
