The green had that had the crystal, was the last remaining energy of krypton that he had used when he had gitten badly aick after getting scratched in the neck by Luthers super villian he made, if you wanna know it superman 4 the quest fo peace
The pointing hand allows people to recreate one of the posters Christopher Reeve posed in. I believe that green piece isn't kryptonite. I believe its the green crystal that calls to him in the movie. I like the sculpt but not the cell shading.
For some reason I kinda remember the crystal to be white. Anyway it has been a while since I watched the movie. Guess that is one hood reason to rewatch it now. Thanks for watching.
The idea that collectors should be thankful for whatever we're given regardless of it being good or bad is NUTS! This figure is disrespectful to Christopher Reeve and Superman fans. It's a lazy mess.
Thank you for the review. I really want to love this figure since Reeve is my Superman. But the skin over lapping on the suit is just bad reminds me of Arnold wearing the woman mask in Total Recall 😅 I could deal with the arm joints. I appreciate the first look on this figure. Hoping the movie version is better in regards to the skin meeting the suit collar.
The neck piece and elbow joints are horrible. And again, why would they go for an comic look of Reeve? It makes no sense. Fortunately, I immediately checked the regular '78 Reeve promo shots and those two things I've mentioned aren't the same.
The green crystal isn't Kryptonite. It's the crystal that built his Fortress of Solitude in the arctic when he threw it into the water. It also restored hiis powers in Superman II.McFarlane's engineering isn't that great. A flying figure that can't look up is very poor execution. I love the NECA version, but kit had very bad quality plastic. Of the three i have, one already broke from gentle posing and handling.
He’s my favorite live action Superman of all time he’s the one I grew up with he’s the best and always will be
Thanks for showing this with other figures, I may be using the regular collectors edition as my main Superman
Glad you liked the comparison.
15:25 Yeah it worked here's hoping that 78 Superman bucks gets reused alot for other designs! 😊
The only limitation I can think of for it’s reuse is the lack of sculpted muscle definition.
@FigureForm45 Yeah about that because the Batman Hush buck has some muscle definition in it the 78 Superman lacks I can see that
Sooo...😄Cool!😃

Thanks for watching.

Thanks. Guess I already need to rewatch the movies.

Let us hope the movie version is better. Thanks for watching.
Already i can see them using this body for George Reeves or Dean Cain, Tyler and David would need new sculpts
You make a valid point. I can see that happening. Thanks for watching.
that missing triangle in his "S' is what's bothering me
I can relate. Thanks for watching.

I agree. A flying figure should be able yo look up. Thanks for watching.
