  • In this video, you'll be able to explore 9 covered bridges in 3 hours in one county in Ohio!
Covered bridges are a a beautiful and unusual sight, and this drive will show you some of the best examples in the state of Ohio. Along the way, you'll be able to take in beautiful views of the river and the surrounding countryside. If you're looking for a covered bridge drive that's different and fun, this is the video for you!
Take a ride with us as we drive around Preble County and tour some of the most unique covered bridges. We find the double-barreled covered bridge, which is the only one in Ohio and 1 of 6 in the United States. We come across some of the oldest and youngest covered bridges in southeast Ohio. It also doesn't hurt to stop by a fun coffee shop in a nearby town and try some great flavored coffee. This was such a great fall day and getting to visit so many covered bridges in 3 hours was a bonus. We had no idea there were such great covered bridges so close to home. We want to encourage everyone to just take a drive and explore a great county or town near you. You never know what you great treasures you will find.

We would love to do a VA edition. I bet a winter snow would be amazing on the red covered bridges.

The last bridge was definitely a bummer, but an interesting way to end the video!

Funny thing, we didn't know about it until we drove up. It wasn't last intentionally, but funny how things work out. 😂 That bridge did have a great private location. I hope it gets fixed soon.

The town is called Eaton. It was so hard trying to explain that we wanted to find something to eat in Eaton. 😂😂😂
