- Aries Spears and Gerard Guillory sat down for the first installment of their new podcast, airing exclusively on VladTV, and they started off speaking about a huge topic in the comedy world- Mo’Nique and D.L. Hughley. This led to a conversation about the disadvantages women face in the comedy world, and they also spoke about their interactions with both comedians. Aries and Gerard also discussed the recent tragedy in Uvalde, Texas, which led to a conversation about guns and other mass shootings. The conversation also turned to sports, with the Jordan Vs LeBron debate resurfacing, and Aries and Gerard also discussed the NBA GOATS overall. Gerard is a 100,000% on point about language. Language is how North America even became for sale. Imagine being a Native to this land & someone peddles up to your shore demanding your papers. And next thing you know. You’re on a much smaller piece of land called Reservation. Language is important North America. It’s the true root of everything today.
I personally think Aries is an amazing comic. I like when he channels Paul Mooney, he is spot on with his impressions of Paul. I also like how he speaks his mind, comically he is as good as Dave Chappelle. Very underrated, excellent comedian.
Hes as good as Dave as far as how he does the comedy, but his issue is he barely does new material...he does jokes in a show today that he did on a Talk Show or Hour long special in front of millions years ago, some decades ago...doesnt make sense...he needs to learn to retire jokes quicker and move on...once its out there on TV, its done

I love you both. Aries you are definitely underrated. Great topics on this podcast and I wish I could comment on all of them. But I will comment on the gun control topic. When it comes to gun control I disagree that gun laws will make a difference. I believe it needs to be addressed as a whole. Which includes addressing mental health and adding more security at schools. I come from an era when school doors were locked and the doors weren't locked there was security at those doors. Also there are alot people that come from a privilege background with way too much time on their hands watching TV displaying a diverse of culture getting away with literal murder. Alot of culture's with a high demand of mental health issues and cannot afford the proper assistance. Or low income families who spend a significant amount of time surviving and miss all the signs of mental health. Some are in denial of mental health. We have undiagnosed and diagnosis of mental health illnesses that needs to be addressed. I refuse to believe anyone in their right state of mind can commit a crime as horrific as mass shooting and school shootings etc.
