I made a powerpoint of all my goals that I watch on my phone - complete with affirmations. I think will incorporate an anchor word as well. I do like the way "trust" feels when I say it. Thanks for the idea.
I appreciate you making these videos. I use to have a business but it sent me back to bartending, something I said I would never do again. Watching your channel as I get ready for work make me realize I can create a career appose to applying for a career. accepting what I am doing now is not forever but a stepping stone to where I want to get. Thanks again take care!:)
I love this! I have a vision board/affirmation board on my wall at the end of my bed so it's the first thing I see in the morning and last thing I see at night. And in the space of two years most of the things on it have happened! and it's in need of updating. But I live by my affirmations completely!
Thanks Carrie like the Goal book and box. It really does work! I have undertaken goal boards in the past and you really do achieve your goals! The most important thing is as you say, is to have a clear intention and make a commitment to yourself and write it down.
I agree about not holding on so tightly. 'A Course in Miracles' says to ask for the miracle, and then step aside. Stepping aside is the hardest part. I've had an instant result doing this once! Just love your stuff...
I have a white board with the Important/Urgent matrix. I write my tasks on post-its and stick them in one of the 4 quadrants according to their importance. This helps me to stay organized!
Thank you for the video, What I did after seeing your board and thinking about how I did not want others to see, I made a board behind a picture I have on the wall and turned it around, so all others see is the wall decoration and all I see is what is held behind it. Seeing that on my wall every single day reminds me daily instead of some box hidden. works!
Carrie, since you would LOVE to hear what I think about this, I'm going to tell you in writing in a public forum. About a year ago I started a small PT video production business and have been doing mostly pro-bono work to build up my portfolio and get the word out to friends and neighbors. This video made me focus on my goals and achieving them in a semi-public manner. I just made up a list of things to put on my board and don't think everything will fit. I may need a bigger board or 2 2'x3' boards, which will fit in my den/makeshift studio. On one board I will pin up text and pics about my work goals and personal development goals. To me those go hand-in hand and are essential for avoiding burn-out. On the other board I will pin-up rewards that WILL come in time from completing items on the first board. These rewards are things like home improvements, day trips and vacations. Having these two boards to view side by side will motivate me on a daily basis to set goals and achieve them. Thank you sooo much for sharing this idea and your motivation! I just love your other videos. Keep 'em coming and best of luck growing your business and reaching your goals. - Sincerely, Steve from CT/USA
Also, I made a collage to others it is just random photos, to me it is a path and a life I want to live and car I want to drive and clothes I want to wear and products I want to own. Its like Mona Lisa with her hidden smile. :)
P.S. I am going to create web commercials, starting with one to promote my company. I already have the script written and much of the pieces assembled.
there i a video on the side of this video that says why vision boards are useless i am going to click on it next. which one of you are right i don't know....
I used vision boards as far back as I can remember so I made a scrapbook style vision catalogue for my students then someone suggested I list it online. Here's a link in case others might like it- www.amazon.com/Universe-Catalogue-your-order-want/dp/149426319X

Thank you for sharing your vision board with us. And some of the less common ways of storing your visions. (ie, book, box) Those are quite clever.
Thank you, I'm so glad you liked it! I love the idea of a white board to use too, thanks for sharing :) I hope you enjoy creating your goal board!

hi Carrie,
how much time does it take to realise your vision?????
interesting but vague and unconvincing. How long did it take to achieve your goals?weeks, months or years?
That's a good idea to have it somewhere you can see it when you're cleaning your teeth! I think I might do that :) so glad you liked the videos!
awesome
God bless you

So did you end up getting closer to the goals from your goal book from 2008?
