The Walmart I go to never had any lures worth a crap then all of a sudden BAM.now they have all them swimbaits. The same ones on this video. Lol. Awesome video ADUB
They've had really nice Storm swim baits for years, at least up here (northern Indiana). I have some big perch ones from Storm's WildEye series that look great.
Another great video! Those look like some killer spots to fish. Haven't had luck on anything but bluegill up here in a couple weeks - the weather has been goofy, high then low then roasting - but I caught a huge bowfin last month on a Texas rig curly tailed worm 🪱
The smaller ones just a simple 7’ m/h (mach jacked in this video) and for bigger baits like glides (especially heavy ones) i throw a superduty rod from lews for the big boys usually in a heavy
“”I’ve caught 6-7 pounders in here” 😂😂😂😂😂 I know exactly where you were and you have NEVER ever caught anything that big in there. You definitely put the goob in Yougoob
The 6th Sense Draw 6.5 is a killer glide. I have a ton noth oit the box and modified by shaving the joints wider for a choppier glide. At $45 at Walmart, thats $5 cheaper than if you bought it directly from 6th Sense, not including S&H. I fish the Tennessee River, mainly Pickwick Lake, and it my go to confidence glidebait.
@@ADUB1 opening the joints up with the S-Waver is really good too especially with the smaller one. Makes a ton of difference around structure like docks. That more aggressive glide really gets some reaction bites.
Ummmm 45$ is cheap for a glide bait lol. Most good ones are much more expensive. Theres only a handful thats cheap lol. Chad shad is probably the best under 100$ and its 60$ lol
Im thinking like an s waver is $20 and very similar to the glide I was using. Also a fan of some of the shine glides by savage gear 🎣 but yes I know the deps and all of those are expensive but thats a whole nother thing lol
@@ADUB1 no doubt and I prefer the budget ones just in case I lose the lure 😂. But yea bass pro ones, s weaver, Savage gear and maybe one or two more is about all that's cheap cheap lol. The 6th sense one though has better hardware and paint schemes than the others. I like the trace swimbait by 6th sense and it's only 35$. I got bunch of those though at dicks for 18$ when they was in sale 😁😂
When did walmart get big swimbaits? 💀😂
Idk but I LOVE IT 😂💀

Yeahhh the weather has been super hot here and the fishing has definitely got more sluggish but theres a few still biting!

What’s the best knot for glide baits?
What rod action and size are you throwing on these swim baits on?

Where? Drop the cords 🤑
Great video !
Just bought that cull shad 😂
Adubb what's your favorite glide bait since you think that one was average.
An s-waver is hard to beat and so is a shine glide, especially for the price 💰
@ADUB1 what a practical reply. I was expecting something unaffordable lol. Good look!

I nose hook that small Berkeley swimbait
Wait Walmart carries 6th Sense now? 🤯
Why would you be standing in water, get the fish 10 feet away from you and then just stop reeling? That was stupid
