Welcome to our Matrix Revision session, designed to help students from Class 12th, BCA, and various other streams master the basics of matrices. This video will provide a complete yet concise revision of matrices, covering key concepts, types, and operations. Whether you're a school student preparing for board exams or a university student brushing up on linear algebra, this guide will simplify matrices for you.
📚 What We Will Cover 📚
Introduction to Matrices
What are matrices, and how are they used in mathematics?
Real-world applications of matrices in various fields like computer science, physics, and economics.
Types of Matrices
We will explain the different types of matrices, including:
Row Matrix
A matrix with a single row.
Column Matrix
A matrix with a single column.
Square Matrix
A matrix with the same number of rows and columns.
Zero/Null Matrix
A matrix with all elements as zero.
Unit Matrix (Identity Matrix)
A square matrix with ones on the diagonal and zeros elsewhere.
Diagonal Matrix
A square matrix where only the diagonal elements are non-zero.
Symmetric and Skew-Symmetric Matrices
Understanding the properties of these matrices and their importance.
Matrix Operations
We'll cover the basic operations you need to know, including:
Addition and Subtraction of Matrices
Learn how to add and subtract matrices element-wise.
Scalar Multiplication
Understand how to multiply a matrix by a scalar value.
Matrix Multiplication
A slightly more complex but essential operation, we'll guide you through multiplying matrices and explain the rules involved.
Transpose of a Matrix
Understand how to find the transpose of a matrix and why it’s important.
Applications of Matrices
Matrices play a crucial role in solving systems of linear equations, transforming geometrical figures, and various computational problems. We'll give an overview of where matrices are used in real life.

thank u sir for this revision🙏
Thank you sir 👍
great work sir appreciated🎉
🙏
46:49 ans= x=2,y=4,z=2,w=3
Thankyou so much sir
So nice of you
I think so the answer 0f equate two matrices are x=1,y=2,z=3
If matrix has 36 elements then the possible order of matrix are (36×1),(1×36),(6×6),(18×2),(2×18),(3×12),(12×3),(4×9),(9×4)
Totale =9
X-3=-2. | 3x-z=0| x+y+2=5|x+y+z=6
X=-2+3 |3-z=0. |1+y+2=5|1+3+2=6
X=1. |z=3. |y=5-3=2 |6=6
Sare likhne aw etc ni paa skde 😂
@@Satyam-pb37ale nhi saare likhne painde aa😂
Thank you sir 🙏
So nice of you
Thank you sir👍
All the best
