same problem liverpool had under klopp: forwards not taking advantage of chances, keeping games tight to the final whistle, ensuring stars have to stay on the field longer, inviting exhaustion and injury, while the reserves get stale on the bench. all the games so far should have been decided at half-time, so more of the bench could get in.

Whether or not he ever takes a manager role again is pure speculation but the fact he has opted for a less stressful position for the time being suggests he may not.
