    Heres the thing, use the country GIS system to look up the lot with the home on it. You can take the square footage of the roof from that and there is your bid. Same for yards.

    Great video and content! If the music volume could be lowered so I don’t have to turn it down myself and then turn it back up when there is talking so I can hear what’s being said, that would be terrific!

    How do I charge the contractor? What percentage? Or do they give me the cost of the job and then I go and up the price to the customer?

    • @Ronin.rider.reviews
      @Ronin.rider.reviews 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Never make the first offer in a negotiation, i was offered about 33-30% and took it because I felt it was fair anything below 15% I would’ve asked him the take home profit for his business and I would say “if I gave you $X for free would you turn it down because u felt it wasn’t enough?”

    • @zwalk1430
      @zwalk1430 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@Ronin.rider.reviews hey man you seem knowledgeable on this. Khris’s videos didn’t go through everything on how to do it, such as the website that you send the leads to.. how do you create that and what do you put in it? And also, what if you give a client a quote and then the contractor you hire gives a completely different quote??

    • @Ronin.rider.reviews
      @Ronin.rider.reviews 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@zwalk1430 Ya I understand, I had to put together a lot of the pieces myself. But for these types of leads for a website I thought it would be best to do a landing page where they see some of the work that is possible but I also made it clear that we can do any kind of work (because u can find a contractor for any kind of work). I put the contact info at the bottom and put a section for people to put in their info and a description about the kind of job they want to do. I used other construction and professional companies as an example for the rest of the junk u put on it.

    • @zwalk1430
      @zwalk1430 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Ronin.rider.reviews thank you heaps that helps a lot. What did you do in regards to the quoting? Such as if you have them a quote and then the person/company you’re contracting to do the job gives a completely different quote. Or is your quote just an estimate and not what you’re actually going to charge, with the contractors quote being what you’ll actually charge them.

    • @Ronin.rider.reviews
      @Ronin.rider.reviews 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@zwalk1430 well it’s understandable when people want to know the price up front and well Theres no pitch i just be honest with them that prices completely vary from job to job and that the contractor will let them know exactly how much and since it’s a free consultation, no harm no foul if it’s too much

      I don't really understand your numbers. Here's how I broke it down. If we're just talking about his roofing jobs, he said he got 8 jobs, and is at about $4,800 in profit. $4,800 divided 8 jobs is about $600 per job. If $600 per job is 5% then the total of the roofing job is $12,000. The national average is 8k for a roofing job, with a typical range of 5k to 11k, so relatively what he says makes sense.

    So I just have to contact companies and then make a deal that I make advertises from their services?

    • @becketfusik2258
      @becketfusik2258 4 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      Yes, exactly what you can do is, find about 5 companies in a certain industry (for this example lets just say roofing), reach out to them & tell them that you are getting many qualified leads for roofing jobs & that you would be happy to create a partnership where you send them over these leads. Then negotiate a commission you will get from a closed lead (I suggest 7% or higher for roofing). The reason why you reach out to 5 companies is because that leaves room for you to weigh your options & have leverage, therefore you can ensure that you are getting the commission you want because you don't have all your eggs in one basket. Side note: many of these companies are contacted by other lead services that operate in a lead pool, meaning they sell access to a lead list to many different companies & it is very competitive. It helps to let them know that you will be exclusively handing individual leads off to them & they wont have to compete for the lead once they get it.

      @@becketfusik2258 It sounds like you know your stuff. Have you been doing this yourself? If so, for how long? Is it lucrative? What was the best source for you to learn?
