I think the reason why they didn't get that much of attention is because the students there probably old enough and not care about music anymore. Or it could be they only love 'old' or very popular kpop groups (ie. Big Bang, Super Junior, SNSD, Wonder Girls which debuted around 2005-2009). Block B debuted in the year of 2011 which is still consider "new". I'm glad they receieved a lot of attention in "School Radio" though because the students there are still young the tendency for them to like "new" groups also high.
