I tried everything what I saw/read about this problem but I could not fix it the gear unit. I finally figured it out the solution which maybe will help anybody, who has same problem, but you need 3 arms for that. For the zero step I recommend that remove all coffee beans from the machine (turn around the machine if necessary). (1. arm) First problem you have to remove your brewing unit door but without this cannot restart the machine so need a tool and you to push the door sensor button at top of the left (it is silver color in my machine). (2. arm) You have to push the power button for at least 5 seconds. (3. arm) When you hear the restart voices you have to help with your hands the movement of the gear unit. After the above, my gear unit removed to the right position. I hope that will help you too.
@@veviska yes. A technician came to my home. We opened the entire machine and it has all the components in the other side. If you see them closely there is a round plastic white component as a small drum. You can carefully take of its tap and it shows the rotor of the gear we are trying to place in the correct position. With the rotor without the tap there are a small hole where you can use your finger to rotate the mechanism manually so you have to roll and roll again and see in the other side how the gear start to rotate in to the correct position. When the gear is in the correct position you can put the rotor tap again, close the machine carefully and then put all the parts together and start the machine. It works for me and is in operation since then It was a “out of the manual” solution, hope it works for you too Note: I never took of the brewing machine again of the gear wondering that the gear might wrong rotate again until one week ago I took of to clean it and the gear stay in his position
I had this same problem today. The white gear in which the brewing unit is supposed to align and click in to place would not align to its normal position even after holding the power button for 5 seconds and waiting for it to realign itself as shown in the video. I found that moving the gear's surrounding black housing (the housing thats supposed to hold the removable brewing unit in place) in the forward position towards the right side where it dumps the coffee grinds into the removable container first and then pressing the power button for 5 seconds did the trick and made the gear realign itself to its normal position.
@@edwardkim6071thank you so much for sharing this tip, I was really struggling this morning until I decided to check the comments for help. I wouldn’t have thought to turn that piece forward, but that did the trick.
