For outside Delhi students getting into these colleges would be difficult.

I graduated this year from IIITD in CSD, only 70-75% companies allow our branch (During the initial phase, this percentage was close to 50 - i.e, most of the good companies didn't allow us) and the same percentage (~70%) of students got on campus placement offer. Please avoid this branch if you are not interested in design, otherwise you'll end up wasting too much time doing design courses that you could've invested in improving your coding skills. You can prefer ECE in DTU/NSUT over IIITD CSD.
Is the placement scenario same for CSSS and/or CSB or they have a little better or worse as in number of companies allowing these branches please reply, Thanks

This year scenario improved for csd in iiit delhi my bhaiya is in dtu and his school friend is in iiit delhi csd. Those students who want design jobs only they are facing some problems last year too they got unplaced and placement was not 75-80% it was 90%.
But yes ece branch of dtu, nsut, iiit delhi has better future prospects

They put NSUT above dtu because they were the students of NSUT and they think that this University is still best 😂 lmao .Prefer DTU over NSUT(except CSAI) because now both of them have similar crowd and competetion .👍
If they are similar in crowd and competition fir DTU ko NSUT ke upar kyu ? NSUT ka peer group is much better than DTU (for COE) and it will continue to happen because of herd effect.
@@84y87 if you consider top 180 students at Dtu coe as well. Their ranks would be around Nsut coe only. Notice the huge difference in the seats.
@@mayankpgupta1 But you are ignoring CSAI. CSAI has 120 students and closing rank of 4k for HS quota. The total students in DTU COE = 400 and closing rank is around 11k whereas NSUT nearly has the same number of students and has a closing rank of 8k. Most Delhites with a rank under 5k prefer to join NSUT/IIITD than DTU.
@@84y87 for Nsut (120+ 180+ 60 = 360), for Dtu its around 455. Moreover, people often just see the cutoffs without seeing the total seats & fill choices accordingly which can cause slight shift.

Regardless of the reason, as I said, because of herd effect, NSUT COE will continue to harbour higher cutoffs than DTU COE.

These all are closing ranks for Delhi students not for outside Delhi students...
For outside Delhi students cutoffs are quite high as there is a reservation of 85% seats for Delhi students and only 15% are available for non Delhi students...

Didi I’m getting branches like ice and mechanical, should I take it? I want to go for tech placements only. Will it be beneficial since college is good? My other options are not that good either. I’m hard working but I don’t want companies to shun me away because of branch, they can do so because of gpa but not branch

Not as much as dtu cos of attendance but still way more than iiitd. Assuming cse branch for all
U won't get much time as there is always a sword of 75% attendance on your head.
Bro please don't join nsut over dtu. if you want to hate your life in engineering then join nsut.I am a second year student of nsut and our whole class regret the decision of joining nsut over dtu. Their teachers are third class who don't even know to speak proper English which is a prerequisite. Students don't get time to learn coding as their syllabus is 50% more then dtu and if you are thinking that having tough syllabus means better college then you are 100 percent wrong as their course are still trash which was used to taught in 1990s and their teachers are equally incompetent to taught that too.and one more thing the Administration of nsut is made up of some bunch of uneducated old brains ..choose wisely😉

DTU SE (similar syllabus to DTU COE) even DTU SE placement is way better than DTU IT (+Brand Name of DTU) & One DisAdvantage is No. of seats is High so competition is also high ; FINAL ADVICE: IF YOU GOT HOSTEL IN NSUT CHOOSE IT! else DTU is best!

DTU COE - 482 seats, it will be like a coaching class. No hostels for Delhi students in DTU and NSUT , so pls check the travel time from your house to college, u end up spending 2 to 3 hours traveling daily. If u have a choice basis your rank, then choose a college near your house keeping in view this perspective.

Who said that east campus placements will be done by main campus
I dont think so. I think they would have separate placement cells. And that would be too difficult to manage. Travelling 35km everyday to another campus for placements. Not at all feasible.

we are not certain that east campus will have its own placement cell and also whether it will be done by main campus.

I was just looking at placement stats for Mnit Jaipur on their website. Its not at all comparable to Dtu. Only 131 companies visited. While in Dtu last yr 330 companies visited. Definitely go for Dtu unless you are from Rajasthan & dont want to leave your home state.
Bhai teko log MNIT bolenge and reason denge *peer group* and *faculty*. Peer group dtu cs ka 99%ile+ bacho ka hota h and that's for home state, Other state ke lie 99.7. Rahi baat faculty ki, college mei faculty se koi ni padhta (unless research krni ho). Saare online courses prefer krte hai. And jaise mayank bhai ne btaya, dtu ki companies 3x hai.

Nsut has a typical govt administration & academic section. So unorganized that you’ll get frustrated by the end of it. Also with attendance although some profs might agree but 75% is almost a certain thing. The administration needs to change. No need for such restrictions on bright students. In Dtu, the admistration is a lot better than this.

IGDTUW Btech MAE closing rank is around 75k (not considering spot round). Maybe this is the Btech +MBA closing rank which is talked about in the video.

Yes you can get biotech in spot round in both nsit and dtu
you can get ece which is a good branch in spot rounds as seats have increased in igdtuw

DTU IT le lo for placement and exposure both. But peer quality and faculty of MNNIT is much better than DTU. Choose wisely. Personally, I'd take DTU IT.
