There touring days are over its been over 2 years since power up there's 2 members in that band over 70 & I don't think Brian's voice or hearing would withstand it anymore & I don't think putting to the test at 75 would be a very good idea it could end up worse than last time
I am here to tell you, Brian is one of the most genuine and nice guys you can imagine. My wife was on a shuttle bus @ the Queen Mary exhibit with him and she said he seemed to be totally approachable and talking to everyone; not about himself, just talking about everyone's day. She didn't want to bother him, but she was certain if she asked he would have signed an autograph, taken a picture, and probably would have drove back home with her so I could meet him and jam! lol I am looking forward to reading his book.
Totally believe this, seen the Sky program where he was interviewing Mark Knopfler so down to earth honest no ego just the best storyteller and so engaging, great voice as well I'd probably go for the audio book as well😀👍

Brian Johnson is one of the reasons I found for going on with life on many occasions throughout my life. I have Cystic Fibrosis, and when I was younger I found AC/DC. That discovery led me to become a guitarist. That put me on the trajectory that has brought many beautiful things into my life. I was recently diagnosed with profound hearing loss. Hopefully whatever Brian is using to help his hearing will become available to people like myself soon.
I had the great privilege to see them in Amsterdam in 1979 (with Bon Scott!) and about 1 1/2/ year later (again in Amsterdam) with Brian Johnson, who had just joined the band...both times my ears were ringing for quite some time...incredible band! But maybe now it's time to retire...they've lost quite some strength, vocally & guitar-wise...
I've just finished reading Brians memoir, I have to say, it's one of the best biographys I've ever read, I just loved it, it's so funny, but, it also highlights Brians struggles living in Englands northeast, but also his dogged resolve to be successful in whichever way he could, a great read from one of Rock & Rolls gentlemen. I'm glad I can say I've seen AC/DC live many times & feel lucky to have had the pleasure of seeing Brian do what he does best. I thoroughly recommend this book.

I myself was at that Edmonton show and something didn't seem right that night. I had seen AC/DC 2 times before that and they were phenomenal especially on the Black Ice tour. But performing without Malcom during the Rock Or Bust tour I thought the bands not themselves anymore but Brian did seem off the whole show. I've always loved Brian, I prefer him over Bon and that's my opinion!
With the loss of Malcolm there is a HUGE hole in the band. As good as Stevie is….it’s just not the same. And the rest of the guys know this. Malcolm was the heart and soul of AC/DC. It was his band. I definitely favor Bon but I respect anyone that likes Brian better. He’s fantastic and I’m proud to say I was lucky enough to have a beer with him in 86’. Still have the Grolsch cap as a memento.

Anyway I heard somebody from Ohio sent him a letter telling him about the technology from Asius or however it’s spelled i’m not sure if that’s true but however he heard about it I am happy that he did. And I can’t wait to get my hands on this book. Because I really would like to read it.I grew up listening to these guys. Without them life would have been very boring. Does anyone know this info? It's a shame we will probably never see another live show from AC/DC , I've been lucky enough to have seen them in their prime and haven't missed a show of theirs that's come my way since 1988, it's fantastic that Brian is doing well now with his hearing and his overall health seems great, unfortunately that is not the case with other members of the band Phill Rudd has fell on bad health issues as has Cliff Williams, as much as people would like to see them tour again I think it's time for them to call it a career, when they went on the Rock or Bust tour it definitely was a bust, I was not happy with the way the band sounded, love them and they will always be my favorite band but sometimes you have to know when to say when, I don't want them out there looking and sounding like Motley Crue..

The long time away on tour from his family and the demands of being on the road was more than he could take! He wanted to make music on his own terms and likewise to go on tour at his own conveinience! The song "Back in Black" was his resignation to move away from the spotlight! The lyrics were his signature resignation and the clue to how he would depart from the Band! "Back in black I hit the Sack! (Bon Scott was referring to how he would be supposedly found dead whlile he was asleep! and leaving the Spotlight by slowly fading to the darkness of returning back to a life of normacy away from the bright lights! "I have got nine lives! (He is referring to how he survived many dangerous events a Bike accident, alcoholisn and how he was going to reinvent himself!) Brian is a great guy but lies about who wrote the Back in Black album type in Bon Scott You Shook Me All Night Long on here and you can hear him live on HTH tour (probably one of the last gigs) he says new one right here and it’s definitely his voice and AC/DC playing the song just like Pete Way of UFO said he was celebrating with Bon before he died the finishing of the writing of his best album yet that’s why the greatest rock album of all time was out in two months after Brian joined it would be impossible for someone who never wrote a hit to write that album in that little amount of time. Read the book by Jesse Fink or watch his interviews on who wrote the album. AC/DC manager even said the writing credits were wrong

I was good friends with Charlie Wykes, whom Brian mentions in this book. Unfortunately Charlie died on Christmas Day just gone. Great bloke and will be sorely missed.

They asked a few singers and auditioned a few before Brian, there wasn’t as you say multiple just a few.
It was a interview to plug a book. Not behind the music. I saw the band with Bon And Brian and I thought it was fine. Really, get a life.

Brian is a great guy but lies about who wrote the Back in Black album type in Bon Scott You Shook Me All Night Long on here and you can hear him live on HTH tour (probably one of the last gigs) he says new one right here and it’s definitely his voice and AC/DC playing the song just like Pete Way of UFO said he was celebrating with Bon before he died the finishing of the writing of his best album yet that’s why the greatest rock album of all time was out in two months after Brian joined it would be impossible for someone who never wrote a hit to write that album in that little amount of time. Read the book by Jesse Fink or watch his interviews on who wrote the album. AC/DC manager even said the writing credits were wrong
Finks book is full of holes and conspiracy’s. If you want to believe a book over what Angus and Brian have said that’s up to you. Just don’t write as if what ‘YOU’ are saying is true either because you don’t fucking know.

There’s no credible evidence they used Bob’s lyrics but even if they did it doesn’t really matter. Not one person bought BIB for the lyrics.

A more appropriate observation would be buying every album after BIB only for the riffs and power cords, because the lyrics went shithouse. I have every album. I've seen the band a few times. I only listen to BIB and everything previous.

I was good friends with Charlie Wykes, whom Brian mentions in this book. Unfortunately Charlie died on Christmas Day just gone. Great bloke and will be sorely missed.
