I'm beginning to wonder if his tears are real. How does one cry like that and turn around and do just the opposite of what John McCain believed in. These people are like the Stepfords.
I don't doubt he misses his work buddy. I don't agree with his ideas but I can't imagine how anyone could hang out with someone for years and NOT genuinely miss them. He lacks the spirit of McCain, so can't fight with the same vigor since he doesn't live in McCain's skin.

I just don't get Lindsay Graham. Sometimes he says really forceful things and I am so relieved that a Republican will stand up to Trump. But.... he always seems to disappoint in the end. He once said that if Jeff Sessions was fired, there would be "holy hell" to pay, now he supports it. John McCain was a hero and I understand Graham's love and respect for him.... but he should follow in his footsteps and be a voice for truth amongst the Republicans. We have to trust they understand the situation and are doing the right thing. When there is a pattern of going against what we believe, then vote them out. McCain was able to do both for 30 years.

I don't totally discount what you're saying. That's why you got to go to more than one source and judge for yourself. In the end we all tend to believe news that confirms what we already are inclined to believe. But somethings are common sense. I.e., I don't listen to what journalist say about Trump as I listen to what comes out of his own mouth which is usually disgusting. And I've followed Trump for much longer than the average because I'm from NYC and what he does/has done is not new to me. He's a con man. But back to the media...., yes, it's all skewed. Still need to watch and put the pieces together like a puzzle. The answer is not to suppress them but to allow more opinions to seep in and digest; and make up your mind. A thought just occured to me, and it stopped my tears for John McCain - no, I did not personally know him, but always respected this man. His parting from this now so crazy world, if it did nothing to the average citizen, it did one thing possibly for politicians: granted, not everyone, but many enough to step back and re-evaluate their rhetoric spewed so distateful, sometimes near hate, toward the other politician in the goverment.
